I personally think Kinect has a lot of potential and being someone who has a kid in the house, I actually welcome it. But, I think MS will have a struggle on their hands to win over the masses. @MikeMyers - You're absolutely right. I can't believe people are still throwing that "it'll just be Kinect games" line after Microsoft showed none at all at E3. If anything they 'should' at least show some Kinect games. At least that way we'd know why the dam thing is worth the extra money.
To be honest, when I heard Ellen Page was starring in a video game, I thought it was Last Of Us until I saw the trailer fo Two Souls. Even then for a moment I thought, wait, she's in two games?!?
The difference in graphical power between these two consoles is the one thing that the mainstream gaming sites seem the fail to mention. Its all DRM, Price etc.
I for one and going to sit this war out for a year and see what happens. The games push me towards the Xbox One, but the power (and price) pushes me towards PS4.
Not that I'm bothered about one of these Ouya devices, but why oh why do us Brits get screwed on the price again and again! $100 = £100! What a joke. If you happen to be in America you could pick this up nearly half the price (£66). Speaking of which, you could save yourself £100 on the Xbox One and £85 on the PS4 (if you can fit them in your suitcase!!). Its outrageous.

How would it be a 'greedy' decision if they lost a whole load of their customers? And they would, the amount of people with no stable internet connection would be huge. Greed is one thing, stupidity is another.

I don't have problem with "always on", I mean my Sky box is essentially always on (granted not via the internet) and downloads programmes when it's in standby mode and I would have assumed the new xbox would work in a similar fashion.
