I will be preordering my console, but I won't do any trade-ins. I have have kept all of my games and consoles as collector items. Great advice nonetheless.

The Wii U may not be breaking any records, but it certainly won't sink Nintendo, they'll be able to stay afloat and perhaps win over new customers this holiday season (especially if there is a price drop).

I truly hope it doesn't come to this. I recently let a friend borrow the new Tomb Raider game and convinced her and her boyfriend to purchase the title. They were both skeptical of the direction the franchise was taking and wouldn't have given it a shot otherwise. I hope that developers and publishers realize how many customers they gain by allowing games to be shared.

I believe I buy more used games than new games. I also picked up Mass Effect used and decided to continue with the series. I was introduced to the Persona series when a friend let new borrow his copy on PS1. I would be a lot more hesitant buying a game that I am on the fence about without trying itout or getting able to get it for a cheaper price. Also, honestly there are games that simply aren't worth the price of a new game.
I would snatch up a HD remake of Legend of Dragoon in a heartbeat!
