I always wanted to try this game. I remember reading about it anxiously whenever it showed up in a game mag or online before release. It came out and my work life was too involving at the time so I passed. I think I'll look around for this.
Of course that's day one as well. Really wish Nintendo would have opened the gates on NX. Either way my Wii U is ready. Can't believe a new Metroid has not been on the system. Not even announced.
Sea of thieves looked like a shit load of fun to me too. Seems like they love PS VR and with Star Trek VR coming on there as well the line up looks more and more solid everyday. It's times like this when you're glad you got all fronts covered. I can play sea of thieves on my XB1 or my PC and my PS VR is already preordered and awaiting release. A world without video games is a sad world indeed.

I love me some PD. I'm actually fine with them canning the remake and just making a remaster. I just hope it's a completely overhauled remaster and not just a touch up. Phantom Dust was a brilliant game but kinda ugly back then. It'll take more than a couple coats of paint to shine it. Day one for me.

Yeah this conference was a letdown big time to me. Forza 3 was excellent and Sea of thieves looks like it will be fun with a group of buds. Xbox S had me sold until Scorpio was made official. It slit the S wrist for me instantly. I'll stick with my launch day Xbox until Scorpio if I get it.

The ONLY final fantasy I have not beat. Never played it at all. I even beat the old school gameboy Final fantasy mystic quest. I cannot wait to try this. Oh I didn't beat the Lightning returns "expansions" either. Lightning and her battle system didn't do it for me. And those boss battles that have to beat in this almost scripted way. Ugh.
MS shut down the studio, leaving the vast majority of these guys unemployed and these guys are still trying to scratch up money to make a game for MS. You would think people in this situation would be trying to start their own studio, find permanent employment at another studio, etc. Say what you want about the house of Xbox but you gotta be treating people well when you can fire someone and they still try to find a way to serve you.
I feel sorry for anyone that didn't think this was coming to Xbox. A Namco Rep telling a random person in Paris that it's coming to PC and Xbox who then tweets it is some iffy "confirmation" though. Either way it's expected.
Can I get this on console? None of that Revolution stuff. A 100% perfect port of Civ. I just want to lay on the couch and civ out.
