Aaaand that’s why I held off on getting this. Almost had me. Loved Blackout, loved the counter strike like mode, but in the back of my mind I was like let me see how dlc will be handled. Scumbags.
I love the game the same way I loved the last one but uh.... this shit needs a fast travel or a auto travel that has the horse run the route to a waypoint you set. You still have to pay some attention because of the dynamic interactions like attempted robberies, but damn do I hate having to ride across the damn place when I just want to get a quick mission in.
Maybe he likes games. Me and him have something in common after all. I’m following Cyberpunk too. Damn that game is impressive. Please don’t have a season pass....
I want this game so bad. It will be a total time sink so I’m glad it has not come out yet. I am desperately trying to clear my backlog. I should be ready by January-February. I’m sure my creative son will need it too because Little Big Planet 1-3 is his most played series hands down. He’s made 2D sonic animations, a calculator, and a sonic platformer level to name a few. Media Molecule is simply impressive as hell and I’ll be there day one.
For me it’s fine because my backlog is out of control. Sony has released so many great exclusives so close together that I am ashamed to say I have and have not beat. I’m am literally overwhelmed and actually passed on red dead, Cod, and will be passing on battlefield until I clear some stuff.
I don’t remember the orders that these games came out but I have God of war not beaten but loving it, Spider-Man not beaten but I have almost all the side quest that are visible thus far beaten...
If challenges were like this I probably wouldn’t have got so burnt out on the game. Early seasons had fun fast challenges that didn’t feel like clocking in at work. Just lower the overall time it takes to unlock everything and I’ll come back. There’s simply too many games to commit so much to one game. Repeatedly.

I disagree with this. What kills story driven games and single player experiences these days is YouTube and streamers. Being able to stream and have access to streams so easily is what killed Telltale. There is ZERO reason to buy one of their games after seeing it beat. God of War and Spider-Man are single player but they have action that is fun to experience on your own even if the story is ruined. In a telltale game once you’re done, you’re done. I think blackouts shortcomings are simply Battle Royale related and not game related if that makes sense. Camping in its various forms, and simply bad luck. The only game issues in my opinion is slow pick up and search.
I like seeing what others are doing/ have done because it helps me see potential invites for games we are both currently playing. Also, for example, I got 4 blackout beta codes and I don’t need any of them cause I’m already in. I look at my friends activities and see who plays shooters but has not played the beta yet. I’m a huge battlefield fan and it’s my FPS of choice.... until this battlefield and the one before it. I simply didn’t have the fun I had in battlefield 4 and the games before it. This latest battlefield, from the beta, was just severely lacking somewhere for me. Spawns (getting looked at) were wayyy too long and cooled off the action too much and off you went to a highly contested area you spend far more time waiting than playing.
It’s a video game that’s fun. Who cares that women didn’t fight? Does it make bullets less accurate?
I’ll be damned if this isn’t a great idea.

PlayStation is eating mfs lunches this generation. Microsoft is going to have to come straight from krypton with some powerful stuff next gen OR Sony just completely goes nuts. These customers will be customers again next gen and possibly even faster.
The story isn’t his game was a bore from beginning to end. The battles are repetitive as heck and the enemies are not smart AT ALL, they are simply overwhelming at times in higher difficulties. Plenty of fun times to be had in multiplayer though. Didn’t really capture the feel of the better multiplayer Halos, but still fun. Really hope they get some fresh air in the series for the next one. I don’t care if they put chief on another planet (that the covenant have not reach for the love of god)...
