Its all result of a highly unregulated ISPs which are running wild and rigging the game against consumers in that country. (I have read a lot about anti-consumer ISPs in India). The most surprising things to me are
1 - Why government has no regulations / effective enforcement, especially when you call yourself a IT-based economy.
2- Why the young generation, which i believe is a large % of taxpayer population, is quiet about it? (again, in view of ...
Needless to say, despite known for its IT sector, domestic internet connections in India are pathetically slow (1 to 2 Mbps MAX) with terrible reliability. I can't imagine a scenario where people can download a PS+ game from PSN (lets say 2GB, which isn't that big), unless they are one of the SUPER rich who can afford faster connections.
This is how you get beaten up - physically, not metaphorically.
1) I love Mozart.
2) I own PS3.
3) I am polite (not quiet) during online game plays.
4) I despise anyone who is impolite and disproportionately loud, stupid while playing online games.
Hmm...may be there IS a connection between these things.
One particular dude had some shitty music in the background all the freakin time I was playing once. That was SO annoying, everyone just left the game in the middle of match...like in 30seconds.
As a kid I used to LOVE NES. But, as I grew up, Nintendo, which was still stuck at Mario and Zelda really lost all the appeal to grown up me. Whatever charm it had, was completely gone by the time I played Wii. I just didn't want to get stuck in 5-10 year old version of me playing games made for age group 3-8.
