I am done with all this "Always Online Multiplayer" bull$hit.
From now on, if a game has fully functional single player mode, that operates without any sort of online / server requirement, then and then only i will be interested in paying full price. If not, I may think about it few months down the line when price drops to $20.
When it comes to gaming on-the -go, no mobile device - no matter if it is tablet or smartphone, apple or others, can match sheer fun that 3DS and Vita give. Absolutely amazing!
God, please. I would be the happiest person if this happens TODAY.
My greatest fear about gaming industry is these shitty mobile games killing quality game devs and franchises. It has already killed RTS, puzzle, hack-n-slash genre. May be once this cancer dies off, we may be able to revive them back.
Another disease that needs to eradicated is DLCs and in-app purchases. (I'm looking at you EA, Ubisoft, Activision, and worst of all - Zynga)
Where is Red Dead Redemption? GTA V? Sleeping Dogs?
Just like Kinect transformed the way we play games this gen. Oh, wait....

BF4, TitalFall, Watch_Dogs and Destiny have all taught us an important lesson in this gen - NEVER PREORDER ANYTHING.

Here is the counter-argument:
1) If you buy console, lets say PS4/XOne - You wont be paying a dime to upgrade it (to be fair on both PC/console sides, I am not going to consider hardware failure). Means, with the same console, you will be playing games for next 7 years or so (I have done it with my PS3).
Now lets look at PC - I bet you this $380-400 PC won't be able to play even 2014/2015 release games without upgrading either RAM, CPU or most likely - GP...

3. Dragon Age: Inq
4. H1Z1 or DayZ (if we get lucky)
5. The Division

It is the same tactics MS used in X360 generation, and look what happened towards the end of that generation. X360 became all about Forza, Call of Doody, Halo and Madden - Nothing else.
I am excited for DayZ on PS4. Hope it arrives soon and 'rocket' doesn't compromise on anything regarding gameplay.
