there are reasons for this happening at the end.It could be they dont want another game because of many diffrent reasons and i like mass effect greatly but maybe its time they leave in a bang
I really don't see this as a huge deal. They put dubstep music to their trailer. There's orchestral music in movies and video games. No one says it's old fashion because it's paired with great action scenes.
Just because they turned their backs on us doesn't mean that the market is small. it just means that more people will buy a worthy horror survival game. But I do agree with you. It seems like they lost hope in their audience.
Look at the Dead Space series, Silent Hill series, and the previous RE games. Too small? Sir, you have millions wanting to experience another survival horror RE game. Don't claim it's "too small". I call BS.
Knife party. Excision. Acid-Paradox. Bassnectar. Cookie Monsta. Doctor P. Exnotic. Flux Pavillion. FuntCase. Nero. Roksonix. Slum Dogz. and last, TheBiocide.
After the last game, he better not. The story was destructive to the company and I don't think it would do well for the company. Anyone else wanting to beat a dead horse?
P.S.: Don't get me wrong. The multiplayer was great and I'm a huge fan of the series. Just not the story line of SCV.
Sorry for the double post. :/
For anyone who hates Dubstep but likes Electronic music in general: I understand where you're coming from. The beat being all over the place can give me a headache, but I used to be into it. I think the best shot you'll have to liking Dubstep will be several tracks made by Black Sun Empire.

This has absolutely convinced me to get a PlayStation 3. I don't care if the PS4 comes out a week after this game. I have fallen in love.
This man is completely right.
Finally, a modern-looking shooter that teaches you to rely on strategy. I think I peed too.
I thought they said that there would be no such thing on the next Xbox. It's funny how these statements are so contradicting..
who cares it was fun while it was here now its over most of the time game go on for 3 games then dies out but on the bright side there's multiplayer.
Just to set things straight. Dead Space 1 was more of a survival horror than dead space 2. Dead space 1 was slower paced and once you finished the game for the first time, insanity difficulty unlocked. This is what made it survival horror. It had punishing enemies and hardly enough ammo to keep you alive in the next room. The second game was faster and traded the real horror for a faster paced game.
I think I just crapped my shorts. This could be one of the best games to ever come out. I love games that allow you to get so involved.
That's actually a very good point. If i couldn't trade in old games to buy new ones, I wouldn't have the games I have currently. I'm sure they must have thought through everything so I wouldn't worry about it.
@ Brutallyhonest above
You have a wonderful point. Could you really imagine a game losing all value after you buy it? We would most likely go back to trading games with friends if this ever happened, which it will not. At all.
It would destroy numerous companies and I can't imagine a single person wanting to pay full retail price for every game he/she wants to play. At least I hope they aren't that stupid.
I find it fitting that a company who profits on used games to deny the "Anti-Used Games" rumor..
I don't see this happening like they say it will. They should quit claiming that this will be destructive to innovative games. The technology will be more complex and the equipment will be more expensive but I see no end to creativity.
I think out of all the heavy hitter, I'm most excited about this one. A ghostly figure that uses her voice to bring the dead back again. That's intense which is something I'm expecting out of BioShock Infinite.
