This is VERY saddening to hear. As as a PS3 only owner I refuse to buy an inferior port. Platinum will lose MANY potential buyers because of this and I really wanted this game too. No Bayonetta for me.

Ummm..how an YOU ignore that the Xbox 360 has become the household name for online gaming? If people are so fed up with the failiure rates of the 360 then why do people buy em over an over gain when they can simply just buy a PS3?

Actually according to Warzone #72 on thebitbag.com, Sega WILL make the PS3 version EQUAL to the 360 version by the U.S launch. What people haven't grasped yet is that the review copy of the game is essentially the Japanese import thats in English.

@darkride- I don't thk fanboyism is as harmless as you make it seem, the open zone is proof of that. I,ve seen arguments about which console is better that turn into personal attacks. In sports, its good to cheer for one team, but its NOT okay to hate on others for being fans of the other team. There is NO POSSIBLE way that fanboyism can be a good thing. Off topic: Guys, PSX Extreme just confirmed that all the GTA4 DLC that was on the 360 will come to the PS3 in 2010. Plus, PS3 owners will get an additional episode as well! I sold GTA4 ages ago, but this still very good news for PS3 owners.

Platinum Games just screwed themselves...hard. Its funny cause if both versions were equal the game would have sold more copies on the PS3 since the 360 is dead in Japan. Bayonetta missed a HUGE opportunity to compete with GOW3 on the PS3. GOW3 here I come!
