Yeah, that's what I thought too. Or maybe MGS5 takes place through different times. I've noticed Big Boss looks a lot like he does in portable ops so maybe it takes place throughout different periods of time (flashbacks), showing Big Boss gradually aging through the later decades.

I'm pretty sure the most we'll see this year are a few more screenshots and the 2nd trailer sometime in November marking 1 year from the release of the first trailer.
Oh god, I loved this game. Played it on an emulator, it's too bad Konami never made an official english voiced dub.
I didn't think it was as good Snatcher, but it was a fun game.
I just got bored of killing everything I guess, it's nice to just sit back and enjoy a quiet game of pool every now and then. In-game and real life.
Yeah, I always wanted to play pool online. Pool was so fun in GTA IV and San Andreas. Could play it for hours.

i guess that is our protagonist, going to be interesting playing a middle aged guy for sure.
he could be a corrupt cop, rockstar said they are going in a "bold new direction" so we could play both sides of the law.
i miss the survival adventure horror of the first resident evil games. the first resident evil still scares me to this day.
as a mgs3 fan, i have to say the sculpts are far off.
i don't like the look of naked snakes sculpt either it looks too much like peace walker rather than mgs3.
Doubt it, judging from the 2 new screenshots we got. The game looks far from completed and will require a lot of polish.
I wish Rockstar would at least give us a tiny bit of information about the story and our new protagonist.

I've noticed the skyline looks much bigger compared to GTA IV.
Good comparison though, can see just how big GTA V's map is and that's probably not even quarter of the map size.
I can't wait.
ATI 5870 is still great imo.
The map better be big, I don't want to fly a hydra around in circles because of map limitations.
Not complaining though, Rockstar always amaze me.
They're going to mess this movie up.. But I hope they get Josh Holloway to play Snake. He's great. Better yet, make the entire movie in CG.
