I read an article about it ages ago. Guy didn't even know he'd done out wrong. Wouldnt call it a media storm. But then the only media storms we have are ones about which celeb has cheated on there partner eith a hooker or something along those lines.

UK has movies
At least the film rentals we got in the UK are game based. We got final fantasy spirits within, resident evil degeneration and house of the dead 2. The titles might be slightly wrong and granted house of the dead 2 is an amazing leap to call it a film based on a game but it has a slight connection.

James pond 2 was an awesome game. Clearly this isn't for the younger gamer but the nostalgia I'll get from playing this is priceless. Streets of rage 2 is on there 2. There's a couple of hours wasted for me for the grand price of nothing :)
pop culture in a racing sim. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say not needed.
I'd also say they didn't fail as they had the top gear track in it. As it's a racing sim the only thing that matters is the track and the cars. How would been able to play or even see the stig on a menu make it a better game??
I really thought Infamous 2 would get game of the year this year (after playing the beta) but this video puts a little doubt in my mind.
