no real multiplayer, so its a bargain bin pickup for me.
its unfortunate too.
was expecting the same thing. especially with that film coming out.
my PS+ is gonna run out, i hope i can get a code somehow.
i cant read this article on my phone, but have to commment.
In an age of DLC and expansion packs why would too much be a bad thing? Companies get bashed constantly for on disc DLC and a lack of content and innovation...
now (by the headline) somebody wants to go over the top and youre still not happy?
thats stupid. the "im not into racing games" excuse doenst apply here eitehr. If a company has success you know, like COD has, ...
its too bad, it had so much potential.
@persistanttug
its people like you that deter companies from providing open betas.
the most important thing is fun...not kdr or win-loss.
people forget that sometimes.
I cant disagree. they took the COD4 model and perfected it.
crysis multiplayer is the most balanced offering on any console.
the perks balance each otehr nicely and you really have to chooise between alot of good perks.
im a noob because the game isnt as fun as i expected?
logical.
picked it up U2 day 1, nice try though.
there are alot of people disappointed with the mulitplayer experience. im glad you and others enjoy it, but there are plenty of people that are disappointed as well.
it has nothing to do with call of duty.this is uncharted 3. if you want to discuss call of duty, go to a call of duty article.
the community is very split over the game. so its not just me.
shot and run? extra health? wtf.
1. shoot guy, run away.
2. toss grenade
3. take cover.
4. rinse, repeat.
the game hasnt given me any fun yet. and there are alot of people that feel thatway.
itd be cool if they made them like crysis with dog tags. that would eliminate camping.
also, an option to get a killstreak+ wouold be nice. you could gamble and take a smaller killstreak, or let the kills pile up and upgrade it.
either way killstreaks are here to stay. i just hope they make them better and balanced.
it shouldn't take 6 bullets to take down an enemy.
this beta has been a snoozefest for the first few hours of gameplay. it takes too many bullets to kill people, the perks system is lame and the sprint feature is nearly useless.
i was really looking forward to this one too. im going to give it a few more hours before i write it off though.
it wouldnt be the first time that a company half assed a port to the PS3. thats why some people worry about multiplatform games on the PS3.
Besides RDR and black ops, ive never really noticed much of a difference between multiplats.
if companies utilized the hardware correctly and produced products that were of the best possible quality, gamers wouldnt need to worry about anything.
im personally not worried though.
if youre good at the game campers are easy kills, like in every other FPS.
oh, word. theres a guy in the yellow building in the corner behind the desk? heres some options for you.
1. semtex kill him
2. no semtex? ok frag grenade kill him.
3. out of lethal grenades?, flash and come around the corner shooting.
4. no flashes? stun him, kill him.
5. smoke it, kill him.
6. no special nades? turn the corner shooting. ...
more people like the map than dont. it would be stupid for them not to include a map that is similar.
people hate on call of duty all the time, but its mostly unwarranted. activision is smart and thats why the rake in the cash.
My experience is different. First, my code didnt work out of the box. Second, all of those updates should have been included in the final retail package.
Updating maps for different modes and requiring a VIP code for things that should be done already is lazy and inconvenient. Not to mention splitting the community like that.
any word on if they're doing that VIP bullcrap that they did with BC2?
@ pintheshadows
have you seen the gameplay? looks awfully streamlined to me.
