Can't even say day 1 these days. I want this and/or the PS display but the price is too much... for now.
Many people overlooking the fact that it's 2D along with 3D so if the 3D isn't for you then you still get that cinema effect with your normal 2d games or movies.
It's the 2D along with 3D part that gets me the most excited to be honest. Haven't played a game in 3D but if it's not to my liking then i got the 2D as a backup.
I hope this is a success and we get better versions here in the west.
Was the original theme scrapped?
Versus wasn't announced for last year but made an appearance still. I doubt it will happen this year but we got type-0 and XIII-2 so not too bad i guess.

Still haven't played Valkyria Chronicles so i can't say just yet.
Need a demo to decide.
I just had a look at some of mine and noticed some of the great art. The only problem for me is having the cover and especially the spine without titles.
MVC3 is far from casual.
Also he plays SFIV and he's not bad at that either.
Once i can afford it i'll start using custom cover art.
Seeing some examples of alternate covers on the neogaf thread with no ratings, no stickers and most of all no grey and yellow platinum as definitely convinced me.
Of couse they can and they've shown they can. They just put more focus on the casual titles as of late which should never happen IMO. You can make casual games but it should never be your main focus.
The fact that Nintendo themselves have to come out and say "we can make core games" just shows how far down they've gone. You wouldn't have heard this in previous gens.

As long as it rewards you for collecting them then it's ok. Like the shards in inFamous or the schematics for the powerful weapons in Ratchet and Clank games, they reward you in the game with more health, new weapons etc
It can be annoying if it's just for a trophy, like the treasure hunter trophy in FFXIII (Even though you can say you rewarded yourself with everything in the game even though it wasn't really needed).

They still make good games. You just need to know when to purchase them, with all the rehashes.

As for this it probably would work with the 360 as well.
