3DS is still riding the wave of it's price cut. It would probably settle around 40K before the holidays come.
The Go has been discontinued so it's just the remaining stock being sold.

The pic you posted shows the Vita is not even that much wider than the PSP and people were fine with the PSP. Yes when we all heard the screen was 5 inches people did think about it's portability but once people got a hold of it they all showed its not what we once feared.
The Vita is no way near the size of this thing. Look at how thick it is.It's twice as thick once you slide the 3DS in there which is why it's not a proper comparison with the vit...
The PSV looks portable to me, it's thinner than the psp 3000 but wider. I can't say for sure if it will fit in my back pocket but i had no problems with my PSP so there is some hope.
This on the other hand will not fit in anyone's pocket. Most handhelds dont usually cross the line of being too big but something like this is extreme IMO and will be part of the reason along with what you said as to why it would fail.
Someone has to get the sack for this. HOw did this get a green light?

Why do people want MH on the 3DS? Won't it be better on the Vita with the dual analog and better online?
50 million PS2's been sold since the PS3 released and it's still selling. Not everyone can afford a Vita but this will be a great entry point.

I to think that was their plan but the timing was wrong IMO. Patcher thought there would be a Wii HD by now. I think if they did that it would have align them next to the HD consoles while still keeping most of the momentum from the huge Wii sales back then.
But as always with these things it's hard to say but Nintendo will do fine though.

Europe gets an extra pair of 3D glasses.

Scared? No but they are definitely aware of Vita's capabilities.
The guy in the scan is from Capcom i heard and it's him promoting it in the pic. I have a feeling that they had to do this in order to get Monster Hunter otherwise it will have been headed to the Vita because the controls are better suited.
