Sony will be focusing on the PS Vita and the PS3 in 2012. The PS4 will be released around the year 2013, or 2014. Why would they release another platform when they will have two major platforms already out in the market next year? They'd have to be completely insane to do such a thing. Sony learned from their mistakes when they launched the PS3, and they will do everything right this time around.
I wonder how much this thing will cost.. It doesn't sound cheap. Plus, why compare a next-gen console to a current 6 year old console with outdated technology. LOL!

Yeah right.. I'm happy for the future release of the PS4, but I REALLY doubt Sony would just ditch the PS3 completely after only five years. Look at how long they supported the PS1,PS2,PSP. Sony are not Microsoft! The PS3 still has plenty of life left and Sony knows that.
Resistance 3 overhyped? LMFAO! Please play the game first before talking shit. The game was incredible. Resistance 3's single player campaign may be the best FPS single player campaign since the Half Life games.
That is one thing I like about Sony, they take chances and they don't give a f*ck about what others think about them lol. I can't wait to hear more information on this game, it sounds refreshing!

I'd pick Resistance 3 over all other FPS that came out this year. The single player campaign was incredibly good, and fun. The multiplayer was good too, but Resistance is all about the SP.
I'm still getting it. You get what you pay for, and with Sony you get quality and value. The PS Vita is worth well over $250 dollars, people should be thankful that Sony are selling these things for as cheap as possible, and even at a loss!
I think by sequel the author means the next game in the series(whether sequel,prequel). I'm looking forward to playing Max Payne 3 and Himan Absolution next year.
It's such a shame that Resistance 3 didn't sell as well as it should of. Superb game with an incredible single player campaign with a great story and fantastic visuals/effects. So much fun! If you own a PS3, then you need to buy Resistance 3.
