I don't consider myself a casual gamer and I prefer PS5 over xbox so there goes that theory. What exactly makes someone a "hardcore gamer" because they bought xbox?
"Many people I know"
That's never been a real metric for anything.
How classy was "banning" Fallout, Wolfenstein, The Elder Scrolls, Dishonored, Doom, etc from an entire player base that had those games for ages? Yet you bock at a support studio being purchased, um ok.
Probably not, most likely it was to do two things demonstrate the UE5 engine first hand in a interactive way and also hype the upcoming Matrix film.
Its has always been a timed exclusive console launch for xbox. It will come to Playstation a few months after.
Not one person here said xbox is "doomed", they are praising the acquisition which the other side would do the same had xbox made the purchase.
Quality over quantity.
"not safe"? Whats that supposed to mean?
@strifeblade
"that do nothing but playstation"
Incorrect bud, they have worked on some very significant xbox titles.
You know what I mean, people still say "next gen" even when referring to PS5 or series consoles its a force a habit. They were calling the characters in that Matrix interactive tech demo for UE5 "next gen character models" even though they will be on the new systems. What can I say I still call the Washington football team the Redskins, sue me. LOL
I've enjoyed previous iterations in this series so I'll definitely have to check this one out. Doesn't look next gen at all but it looks like it will be a fun addition to the series.
That's a really odd insult based on what I said but whatever makes you feel better I guess.
1:44 looks like the Cosmodrome from Destiny, especially the building textures. Also the music choice for this is awful.
Absolutely agree 100%, they would be a great fit for Sony studios.
Quite the pedigree, that's a big get for Sony.
Sounds like something worth revealing wherever they wanted to.
Lots of gameplay in there and it looks really cool, graphics are insane I'll have to keep my eye on this one.
Both games look incredible, I prefer the look of Horizon though because its vibrant and everything is there to see whereas Hellblade is dark and atmospheric but ends up hiding its graphics in the darkness. As others have said we are seeing actual gameplay here as apposed to a very limited interactive cut scene for Hellblade.
The graphics are not whats being overblown what was shown indeed looked really good there's no argument about that whats being overblown or maybe the better word is misrepresented is the actual amount of gameplay here which was very little. What they showed was a partially interactive cut scene running on a high end PC and that's fine its just people need to realize that's what it is.
The gameplay was not six minutes long.
First eight months of the year xbox marketing team had literally nothing to run as an ad, not even a media remote. Did you troll about that like you are about this?
