Both MS and Sony are supporting previous gen consoles but Sony is the only one to have next-gen only titles like Returnal and R&C: Rift Apart and there will be more to come.

What ever the issues were its good to see Sony addressing them and making efforts to improve relationships. It is odd to hear though as Sony always seemed to foster good relationships with indie developers in the past.
