The price will increase its inevitable. Once they hit the magic number of subscriptions whatever that number is they will increase the price and the more people who own the service but not the console will only encourage it as the only way you will be able to keep playing your games is buy paying whatever they want you to.
Its always funny how MS "doesn't care" when things are not going positively for them in some regard. If they didn't care then why try to sell them there in the first place?
Selling less of your hardware is good news now? Anyone else get dizzy from that spin?
The brand is going nowhere too many people believe in the subscription service model and dont want to own their game apparently. A console from them I could definitely see coming to an end at some point once they get enough people hooked in with GP.
I don't know why anyone would laugh you can either pay once and own it or continuously pay to rent it forever.
Well I think that's up to the people at the Tokyo Game Show and not you.
Yeah but a higher res is more important than the other stuff, unless of course that's not the case anymore for some odd reason.
So its shadows and lighting over resolution now? Hard to keep track of these goal posts.
You dont have to love Sony to prefer a higher resolution presentation of a game, just so happens Playstation is where you get that for The Medium.
Developers who actually take the time to optimize for PS5's SSD > developers who don't. Troll elsewhere.
You're known for trolling and getting away with it for some reason.
You can't be serious. That's not his complaint.
Literally no one is defending it. Haven't seen one single person say starting it from the download initiation is a good idea, not one.
Lol, was thinking the exact same thing. Also at the bottom of the page they said one of 'The Good' aspects was "Player driven economy" and one of 'The Bad' aspects was "Player Driven Economy".smh

Makes sense as third party developers are outside of Sony's control and would have to agree and opt into the program. Something is better than nothing IMO.
"The first two games available"
Not sure how many there will be but it does sound like this is just the beginning of the program.
@CrimsonWing69
And had people not preordered Cyberpunk there wouldn't have been so many people clamoring to get their money back and upset they bought a game they felt they were lied to about. Waiting and doing a little research before purchase is just smart consumerism, or preorder if you like playing the odds and potentially throwing money away I guess.
Never preorder. Has Cyberpunk 2077 taught us nothing?
No its like taking pictures of beautiful art.
