So the console world finally caught up, in a small way, to pc. Say hello to Steams preloading. :P

Are you frigging retarded? Dedicated servers mean no host advantage, no cheating lag switchers, Greater player numbers etc etc. This is why BF3 is superior to CoD, dedicated servers. You ever wonder why pc gaming is so far superior to anything on console. Dedicated servers are a huge bonus for the X1 and I'm sure Sony will see the light eventually.
Even as a die hard xbox fan, i love the controller (i do have a pc/ps3) it's hard to deny it's been a huge cluster fuck so far.
The guy writing doesn't know his arse from his elbow, each card may have 3GB v ram but that doesn't make a total of 6gb it can use, it doesn't work like that in crossfire or sli.
Also you would think they would at least show this on ps4 so we can see what consoles can do.
They are getting better all the time but they won't catch consoles up any time soon. I also find it funny that to play Shadowgun Deadzone on my N7 I'm using a PS3 controller because most touch controls suck donkey balls. Real Racing 3 being an exception, the controls on that are truly great.
While a little rough around the edges, it's a scream to play on pc. One thing that bugs me though is, why oh why don't peeps use their mics, it's a co op game so frigging well talk to your team. Pfft.
Very underrated game, really enjoyed it.
You could always buy a rechargeable set of aa batteries, it's not rocket science.

The summer is always bad for games plus this year a lot of folk I know are holding out for next gen, be it ps4 or xbox1.
For consoles it is, there'splenty of raw power in the PS4 that will last it years to come.
As I game on pc mostly, i can have the best of all world's. A bit like now with xbox360 / PS3 and GTX 680 powered pc.
So looking forward to this on pc but it doesn't seem to be getting much interest. If it lives up to the hype it will be a shame for it to not get the sales. Good co op gameplay is so underrated.
It will happen, sometime next gen with the X1 and PS4.
It will be interesting to see the price war with Steam but I doubt they will worry. Amazon will only ever stock top ten or so games.

So $60 for the game or over $500 for the "same" game with pretty visuals, Hmmmm. With loads of games this year coming out on both gen, high price of next gen, this is why I'm waiting until next year to upgrade.
This looks brilliant, first day for me.
The confusion stems form not knowing what to do with so much GDRR5 ram. Most games such as Crysis 3 mp don't use 2GB now on a 1080p display. It's all a bit over kill at present and therefore a tad redundant, give devs/Sony a few years and they will figure out how to best utilise it all.
This game really deserves more interest, should do better on pc.
It is possible to balance gameplay for consoles and pc to be on an even keel, Shadowrun on the 360 was cross platform and worked very well.
