Shadowrun was cross platform, wasn't really that big a deal so don't really see why it's an issue for some (even if it was only a pc-ps3 option)
As for dumbing it down, it simple economics. You make more money selling to the masses!

While some folk do hate the company the poor souls who work there, most under 25yrs, will have a real hard time finding future employment. In the UK there are more than a million under 25s out of work, I don't envy them one bit.

I'd say they were sitting down and taking a long hard look at Rage and where Doom 4 is heading. Great graphics don't count for much these days without a great game underneath.

What independent retailers? Most went bust years ago.
I for one will miss Gamestation, they gave good trade in prices which got spent on new games. Blockbuster are rubbish and now my only port of call now.
Some mega deals to be had on second hand games right now, spent all my store credit yesterday.
Still when there gone it will make trading games in a bit of a mare, leaves only Blockbuster within a 40 mile radius where I live.
The controller is quicker, more accurate and more convenient that either Kinect or Move. Also at the end of the day most folk don't want to stand in front of the tv waving their arms around.
I was inclined to agree before launch, however I'm loving this style of mp. Also as mentioned above, the wait in the helicopter trick works, on any map/game to, not just private.
Hopefully an update might give us true mp racing at some point though.

You can shop on amazon but you can't trade your old games, ebay is such a lottery as to when/if you will get paid. Game group is just way to bloated, some towns have three of its stores but they do offer a service that will be lost that the Internet can't provide.
They need to match their online prices in store or folk will carry on shopping else where.
Back to blockbuster to trade my games then, also better spend my Game store credit pretty Damb quick.. :/
Rage was selling way below half price within weeks, I picked it up for a tenner before crimbo. Even if it sold the numbers it was at way below rrp.

If he finds getting Tricky so hard and fleeting maybe he should practice a bit more. There are plenty of YouTube videos showing folks in Tricky all the way down the slope! Reviewers really need to spend time playing a game before they write such drivel. SSX is a game you learn to master much the same as a racing game, learn the courses and find the best places to score big.
