I'll be honest, I love sandboxes, can't get enuff of'em. But I agree w/ the author about sandboxes generally needing more polish & maybe tighter, higher-quality narratives.
But the thing is, more than anything else, I play a sandbox for it's huge, beautiful world & the freedom it gives me to move w/in that world however I please (Just Cause 3!!). I think I'm allergic to claustrophobic, "level-based" games, but that's just me :P

Agreed. Sony has market share & demand advantage, no business reason to preemptively drop price before MS/Nintendo do... unless Sony wants to be REEAL mean & hog up even more market share XD: take a hit on per-console profits to increase game sale volume, & by extension royalty profits.
They'll just have to crunch their #'s & make their call. Course, as a consumer, I know what I'd want: Drop The Price! XP
I do feel bad for PG, xbone fh2 I hear is outta this world, deserves better. 360 fh2, on the other hand...
Xbone version is supposed to be sublime, but hearing the 360 version is anything but; might explain low sales there
From what I heard, the 360 version was pretty bad. Horrible grfx (not just compared to xbone version, but compared to FH1), w/ bald, foliage-free countryside, flat textures everywhere; cars themselves were said 2 b nice tho, just crappy environments. Weird bugs, like crashing into invisible walls on freeways during races.

Just Cause 2 is still my favorite game of all time, I make no apologies! ;P The scale of that thing, the beautiful grfx & draw distance, that sense of freedom; it's like what I imagined a game COULD be when I was a kid, & here it finally was.
To this day, no other game has dethroned it in my heart, not even GTAV or Sleeping Dogs, & I loved those 2. JC3 has soo much to live up to, & I can't wait!

Couldn't agree more, absolutely loved SD. Just hope sum people's fears that Triad Wars might b sum mostly MP-thing aren't true at all (I think cuz of sum of the recent Squenix preoccupation w/ mmo/mobile stuff of late); there HAS 2 b a solid SP element to it, or I'd b very disappointed :(
