We have always been hugely successful JRPG makers, let's make our games more western to make more money.
(After a few games) Oh no our games are failing, what does this mean? It must mean our games aren't western enough, make them more western.
True that Final Fantasy has lost it's crown but I wouldn't say Persona has it now. I played Persona 3 but never liked it and then I decided to give Persona 4 a try but didn't like it either.
Sony's first party studios seem to be dipping their feet into every game genre this generation.
Considering the many zombie games already in the market and the imminent launch of the Move I'd say it might be a House of the Dead kind of game.
Hopefully a patch can fix the load times but considering this video was done with data installed it shouldn't take over a minute to go into a single player mode. Doesn't mean that it's not gonna be a great game, I'm still gonna get it and still going to enjoy it =)
PlayStation never really had a main mascot which is why Sackboy is the perfect mascot on account of his many costumes and appearances.
Glad my favourite Final Fantasy is getting a PSN version. Now I just want Legend of Mana and Chrono Trigger.
If they released Nier Replicant outside of Japan then I'd buy it, not the pointless westernized version.
I thought that the DLC was too short as well, they didn't seem to make the most of the two group of survivors meeting.
If there had to be a survivor who died then it was always going to be Bill, it wouldn't have been Louis too cliche, Francis dying won't have enough impact on players, and Zoey dying will leave only one girl left in a game already lacking female characters.
Here was the actual clause, I have to admit this was a hilarious April Fools
"By placing an order via this web site on the first day of the fourth month of the year 2010 Anno Domini, you agree to grant Us a non transferable option to claim, for now and for ever more, your immortal soul. Should We wish to exercise this option, you agree to surrender your immortal soul, and any claim you may have on it, within 5 (five) working days of receiving written notification from gamest...
I only have ICO and Shadow Hearts from that list, would Shadow of the Colossus be considered rare? And I guess I should hang onto Magna Carta and Folklore
...is it the tiger by any chance?
I really want this game curse it being released only on the Wii
"Apparently, the original idea was to have Snake and his crew dance, squat and do pushups to the music."
I wish they had gone with their original idea, would have been funny =)
Looking at the pictures I think 11 > 9 > 10
Might be me but 9 seems to look better then 10, but 11 looks even better
"The PS3 will be $499 from next week and available in the new Slim edition the week after. This puts it right in the same price bracket as the Xbox 360 Elite..."
Lol, the PS3 is going to cost $100 more after next week to match the Xbox 360 Elite, now imagine if the Xbox 360 really was $499 I wonder if that would be value for money compared to the PS3, how I hate price increases.
All this is immediately going on my CV, lol
I loved the summing up of the three consoles,
"Nintendo shot too low, Sony shot too high, Microsoft shot too early."
Now we just need a fourth console so we can have one that shot too late
I don't think having the characters already unlocked will make the game any less fun. Chances are you'd probably want to complete the game with every character to get all the endings, and you usual unlock different characters by completing the game with another character. Therefore there's no difference whether or not the characters are already unlocked if your still planning to complete the game with every character.
I got an American Beta Key for Resistance 2 and I can't be bothered creating an account to play this, so... the first person to reply with a comment and pm me their e-mail (so that I can forward the Beta Key e-mail) will get the code.
Do not reply to this comment if someone has already replied as it'll be pointless.
However, this is the team that was led by Nomura and which created Kingdom Hearts and Advert Children, so they've probably built up a great level of respect for Nomura; so they'd probably agree with Nomura's choices regardless, and considering Nomura prefers the PS3, he'll want it to stay exclusive. As for Wada's decision, he's in a tricky situation because, who's more essential to the company? SquareEnix has been losing popularity ever since Wada's been in charge, whilst Nomura does every ch...
...PS3 exclusive games are coming out from everywhere, Sony should save something for E3 haha.
