My issues with Knack is that the main character doesn't seem to have as strong a personality or look as Crash or Spyro, and the ability of Knack to combine with hundreds of particles and have said particles break off just seems like a gimmick to show off the power of the PS4.

I doubt it, the cover of Fifa usually features 2 other footballers usually representing the country the game releases in.

I'm curious as to what people expect from game covers/cases, aslong as they're labeled PS4 or XBOne and keep my discs and manual from damage I'll be happy. It's then up to the individual developers/publishers to create an eye catching front/back cover.

Nowadays there only seems to be 2 types of games that succeed, Triple-A titles and Indie games. And I believe that game developers feeling the need to pump out triple-A titles has been the cause of many becoming bankrupt this generation.

I miss the PS1 console generation, game devs were popping up everywhere, nobody cared about having the best graphics and game devs could release weird and niche games without the risk of financial ruin.

Gamers who post videos on YouTube currently use capture cards which allows them to edit their gameplay on their computers before upload. This gives them more creative control and allows them to produce an often more professional videos, which the Share button seemingly will not. I'm not saying that the Share button won't be interesting, but I fail to see it taking off as much as Sony would like. If anything, I can imagine a lot of half-arsed attempts at making gaming series.

First off, there's not many people interested in women's football, and then you need those who are interested to also be interested in playing a football game. Between this and licencing costs and development costs, of course it wouldn't seem worth it.

I haven't completed the game yet, but I don't think Elizabeth giving you ammo and stuff, and being invulnerable was done to make you like her. I think it was more to make escorting her less of a chore and to make her seem more relevant in combat

With the Playstation 4 console not being shown and Gaikai saying that they haven't perfected the whole playstation library backwards compatibility cloud gaming. It does seem that maybe Sony thought it would be better to show what they can, as soon as possible instead of holding off until E3.

Although I would never use money to buy success, I can understand the people who would.

Some people aren't good at games and just need a helping hand which money bought weapons, armour, etc., can provide, and then there are some people who just want to skip the bread knife and head straight to the rocket launchers so to speak, which in normal gameplay could take hours to unlock.

If anything, I don't believe developers should be charging to unlock the ...

So.. Sony's strategy are for moms and dads to buy a ps3, sign up to the psn, browse the store, see Dora the Explorer, think 'Wow, the ps3 is awesome for children' and then spread the word to other parents? Sounds like the best marketing idea ever.

Would PC gamers and Valve fans buy this? Probably not, because they would be the ones most likely to have a gaming PC. Then what about console gamers? They would probably stick with their current console manufacturer, the Next Xbox or PS4, etc.
The only real reason to get this would be if you don't have a prefered console or a gaming PC and figured this would be a cheaper alternative. But then why choose this over another console? Sadly, there aren't many exclusive PC games no...

When the game was first announced and details were popping up about it, I imagined a near endless environment where you would travel, explore and uncover things, etc., and then in the distance you might notice another player. You'd enjoy this momentary companionship in the desolate landscape, be able to achieve things previously unachievable, and before you know it you'd both end up lost again until another encounter with someone else.
But instead we got a linear single player...

Even if the chart is just based on 1 day of sales, the fact remains that there hasn't been any adverts for this game. If I didn't regularly check gaming related websites I could have easily missed the release of this game.
There have been more adverts this week for Borderlands 2 than for PSASBR, and Borderlands 2 was released in September.

I'm from the UK and have yet to see a single advert for this game on TV.

Now imagine how the pokemon trainers would be in Unreal. They'll all be top heavy, muscle-bound men like in GeOW

You know a game isn't going to be amazing when the most amazing thing about the game doesn't have anything to do with the game itself.

And in FPS's it's just kill all enemies in one arena then move onto the next.
