Just wanted to thank you for responding to my post with a well thought and respectful response. I get so sick of being attacked for having an opinion. I suppose I stand corrected as your list does seem to have a lot to offer, however to my original point I'm a little sick and tired of people speaking on the "potential & promise" of Kinect.
I just want to see some of this tech put to good use for the more core gamers.
Promise, potential, we know there is potential there with this tech. They've been telling us how much potential there is now for a few years, why not wait until that potential is reached to release it?
It's the same problem that we're having with developers releasing games before they're complete and then releasing dozens of patches. Or better yet keeping huge parts of the game locked so they can release it as DLC.

Sony is on pace to blow away the industry as a whole this year just in terms of variety, console exclusives, core and casual games. I don't care that kinect has sold 10 million units, how many games have they sold for it? better yet ...

I just had to throw my two cents in on this one...I agree that some of his critics come after him a little harder because he's not only black but has the whole Hip-Hop stereotypical thug image. Look you may be right that a lot of these titles will get pushed back but as long as they eventually come out it doesn't matter. I mean even if only half of Sony's exclusives come out next year they will have the edge on 360 with quality AAA Titles. This confirms for me what I thought all along. This whole Console war and fanboy shit is all relative. If you prefer the 360 to the PS3 it doesn't matter what anyone says even if the person or persons who made the game says it's the same you'll say no! no! no! the 360 is better! And vice versa.
