Sony is announcing a deal with indie video-game label Codename to bring a series of independently developed social video games to the Sony Home virtual world on the PlayStation 3.
Codename will work with indie developers from around the world to create exclusive new titles for Sony’s Home, which has 14 million registered users. It’s part of Sony’s multi-year effort to turn its virtual world for gamers into a social gaming hub.

All I can think is...Why would I want to be sitting at home on my couch with my new Nintendo console hooked up to my 55 inch LED TV and be looking down at a 6 inch screen of the game I'm playing? I'm sorry I just don't get it. Isn't that what the DS or 3DS for? I'm lost.
Although I won't be buying this game as I refuse to ever give any more of my hard earned dollars to the MW machine, I'm not sure it was cool of Kotaku to release the entire story beginning to end. Absurd. You guys do realize that they're making a joke about the trash right? God sometimes I'm embarrassed to be a gamer.
Resistance games imo don't get enough respect. They manage to change the art style in all three games and have added new things (not many) like weapons and overall gameplay and feel to all three titles. This looks awesome can't wait. Day 1 for sure.
Some of you guys need to just chill out (Inthezoneac) it's just the Beta, who's to say that a lot of the modes and some of the other things you guys are asking for won't be in the final retail version of the game. i personally like it and they give you the option to play it in "classic" mode which I think is a clue that they will have some of the "original" Socom gameplay features a lot of you older fans are complaining about.
