You do realize f we did that with every generation then the gaming industry would be a lot weak than it is today right? If not dead.
I don't want any of those franchise to be discontinued, even call of duty has its place in the gaming world. It's like the author has just made himself a list of some of the best games this generation O.o
That's the point, this isnt an alien film. This is a game about the space marines, not ripleys interaction with them. Yes there was 1 woman space marine (I think) in aliens, but out of like 8 of them, either way all this pc bullshit of having on woman, one white person, one black person and an Asian in 4 player games is really pissing me off.
Im glad, dead island was ruined for me by only having 2 good characters, similarly we neve got to enjoy dead island 2 in 4 player coop as the last one to join never wanted to be rochelle.
Vegas far far superior to 3, it took all the meh features from 3 (combat, dull uniteresting world) and made them work much better. I found the setting of NV to be much more interesting and interactive. Plus the fact that the whole game is basically one epic tribute to the rat pack. I can easily see why someone would rate this game over fallout 3 (best part of that game was Liam Neeson)
It is I picked up the ultimate edition from Gamestation for about £15 last month, didnt put it down until last week when we all picked up borderlands (which is also incredible)
That pin system sounds awful, I hate it in these games when you can last ride/tombstone even some jobber like slater around 5 times and they still get up within 10 seconds. We should have an option for people to stay down a lot longer

I really can't see anything about journey that would make it worth buying. It seems like your paying money to do nothing but walk towards a light for for 3 hours... I don't know about you guys but that is definatly not my idea of a game.

Gender option were available in reach... And they may have even had the voice option in 3.
For me the rest of this year is all about Borderlands 2, Assassins Creed 3, Halo 4 , Far Cry 3 , Hitman Absolution and (fingers Crossed for a 2012 release) Lego LOTR.
I wish it was easier to get into specific matches in matchmaking I haven't been able to play a stockpile or oddball match online in over 4 months :(
Hmmn I almost agree with you 100% except you forgot too mention they are all inferior to the original Call of Duty (oh and that I never played MW3)
New Vegas was a far better game than 3. Also some of the other honourable mentions deserved to be on this list over assassins creed Revalations (Which IMO was much more fun than brotherhood)
I actually preferred 3 to reach, they sandbox was a much more customisable map than forge world and they took out alot of the fun items from 3 :(
I agree, but it will never happen, did you see the media backlash they got because modders made it possible in Skyrim?
