I honestly believe it will push PS4 further ahead of the competition. But Microsoft Xbox will be fine and always will be. There are still multiplats and 1st and 2nd party games. They can easily sit pretty in 2nd and have a great life-cycle and great experiences. I will never buy an Xbox One, but it's in no danger whatsoever of dying at all. It will be fine and it's adopters will be happy because guess what... it plays games they like. Enough said.

@ Pistolas... PS fans know that what you said is crap. Sony takes care of all our gaming needs and always has. The PS4 has outsold Xbone every single month since release. In order for the gap to close, they'd have to outsell the PS4 by at least a single console for the gap to close by a single console sale. It's obvious they will never close the gap.

It hardly ever drops on PS4. Watching the Digital Foundry video, it look very rock solid 30 FPS, and the people that have played it are saying it's excellent and easily playable. Just because you saw it dip once or twice doesn't mean the playing experience will be any less. Xbox One on the other hand...
PS4 is the more powerful console. Always has been and always will be. Once in every 5th blue moon an Xbox Multiplat performs better on the bone, just means that it's been poorly optimized.
Does anyone have the link to that article on N4G where the author "heard from a mate" that Xbox performs better and that the FPS on PS4 was "bloody awful". :D

This is crap. I NEVER had a single problem logging in to the PSN the whole weekend. Everything went smooth as always.
The Game awards were totally abysmal. Cringeworthy. The Host is as fake and pathetic as any host I've ever seen. The show was and is a total joke.
