Even if it is true, you have no idea how much cheaper the Xbox is compared to PS4 in Australia. The deals and fire sales they have for xbox are ridiculous.
I live in Australia. At the biggest retail chain, xbox one is selling at ridiculously cheap. You can get a brand new Xbox One with 2 games for $248 ($187 US) ... the cheapest PS4 available brand new with similar 2-game deal is $438 ($330 US). Both have same 500 gb HDD.

Retail? I'm fairly sure a lot of people will be buying VR games digitally. The last thing you want to do when you change VR games on the fly, it take off the headet and change the disc and then put the headset back on and re-center the camera. At least in my case. Every single VR game I buy is digital and will be digital. I have 11 psvr games so far, all digital. I have not played Robinson yet because I'm waiting for my pro to be delivered.

Luckily it's your choice if you want to upgrade. Personally I'm really pumped for the Pro, but obviously OG PS4 works just fine and will play all the same games, it's part of the plan and I like it.
Longer View Distances for VR? Major plus point. I can't wait to play this on my PS4pro.

Dude. It's one of the biggest points. PS4 has many more quality exclusives. Xbox really does not have any. Especially for people with a capable PC. I installed a 'cracked' version of Windows 10, just so I can play these games if I choose to. I recently played a cracked version of Ori And The Blind Forest by 'fitgirl'. I'm not ashamed to say it.
PC gaming owners who want a console... will now just choose PS4. It's a no-brainer. PS4 has exclusives. Xbox does...

Last gen I had over 100 Blu-Ray movies. I sold them all because I don't want to keep music CDs. I don't want to keep DVDs and I don't want to keep Blu-Ray discs. In the modern world streaming with be the way. UHD Blu-Ray discs WILL NEVER be widely used. Blockbuster is finished. It's all online streaming. Sony have made the smart move. Look how successful streaming apps are like Netflix etc.

THAT is simply NOT TRUE. PS4 was such an obvious advancement from the PS3 the moment I booted the PS4 up. NO one buys 4k Blu-rays. When was the last time the majority of people popped a blu-ray movie disc into their consoles? Why do you think nation wide chains of BLOCKBUSTER closed down?
