Honestly everyone should be happy about this. One of my favourite games of all time. I bought this game with my first PS1 console. I thought I finished the game after the first CGI graphics cutscene (even though it had 4 discs lol)... and then the open world opened up, and it blew my teenage mind.

That is easily fixed with a 4K HDR 60fps SWITCH... they are really cheap. I got one for $20AU , you can use a remote control, but I let it do it automatically... you just have to turn off your PS VR before starting the game with HDR and just chose the HDMI channel again that you already had it on.... then it switches. No pulling out cords lmao
What I want from The Last Of Us 2 is just to let ND just do their thing and what they think is best for their vision. That's it. I want to play what they decide to make.
Yes please. Might as well get some experience making VR now at this early stage. Devs should at least be trying things out. Hopefully we will see something from FROM in the Future
The Pro has not even been out a month. Give them time and be patient is what I say. They may be busy at the studio, we just don't know. But I'm sure people will be hounding their Twitter. If/when they do a Pro patch, it will be a great day. Might have to get Shuhei to knock on their door.

The new platform of PS VR is just over a month old. A new platform has a slow start in regards to released games. They are doing little experiences on purpose, to build people up.
Resident Evil 7 is a full AAA game playable from start to finish on VR... I'm telling you the long games are coming. A friend of mine has played over 100 hours of RIGS on VR.

I love my PSVR. I really hope they make a VR version of Surgeon Simulator. I would NEVER play the normal version of Surgeon Simulator in a million years... but a VR version? Completely different.
That is why VR is so amazing, even the most simplest and basic looking games on a TV screen can look average and bland... but when you have a VR headset on... you can't describe the difference. You just have to try it.
Wait. What do you get if you play the Beta and Alpha? Can you get the items if you have not played them?
I have purposely NOT played the Beta and Alpha so I can jump in fresh on Day 1 and just figure things out on my own. It's how I played Demon's Souls and all the others. Never watch more than a minute of gameplay and just wait for the final product.

Just for the fact that you have a giant animal as a companion to help solve environmental puzzles in a 3D space already makes the game more unique than anything.
Yes. Time is such a big factor. That's why I don't believe last gen backwards compatibilty is a big thing at all and most people just don't give a flying crap.
I've the biggest backlog of 'current' gen games that honestly, I'll never find the time to play or finish and it just grows all the time.
Why would any sane person or normal gamer ever go back and play any more than 1 or 2 last gen games on their new consoles?
