It's crazy how in the current generation when PlayStation 4 was the most powerful console resolution was very important. Now all of a sudden it doesn't matter. How about we get 4k and 60 frames per second because we pay premium prices for all of these consoles and games and accessories and memberships. I don't understand how people care so much about the console war and so little about themselves as consumers.
Supply and demand equates to a products that has infinite Supply being less valuable. Selling game digitally for years and years over and over again lets me know that development cost is not Beyond the amount of money that a company will make from making an actual good game. Microsoft will sell you a year worth of games for $150 and we're supposed to believe that developers will go hungry if they don't charge $70. FOH!
If you don't buy them at 70 they will go on sale immediately lol. There are companies releasing free games with monetize cosmetics as the way the game will make its money focusing on getting people to actually want to play the game and people still by the line that Triple-A development companies have to charge $70 because development is so expensive. That's a Lie! All the companies sell those games at the same price because that's what the market has decided they could get without...
The cost of next-gen video games is what you're willing to pay for them. Gaming is such a big business that regardless of what developers say they are going to continue making games even if you refuse to pay even $60. Because in the digital Market the new name of the game is getting everybody to buy at the price that they are willing to pay and multiple companies Microsoft included have gone to this model. Even with Game Pass and things like that they make promotions throughout the year t...
Logically I don't know how they could say that Souls is a system seller when the lifetime sale of that same game are lower than the amount of PlayStation 5 that Sony could sell without any games from brand loyalty alone.
Switch doesn't have very many good games at all and it's absolutely hilarious to see a Nintendo guy say that he has more games than he knows what to do with from just a little bit of third-party support.
When I went from Xbox 360 to Xbox One not only did all of my saves work but games like destiny and Grand Theft Auto automatically upgraded to the Xbox One version so I didn't have to rebuy those games they were just available because I purchased them on Xbox 360 through my Xbox account.
Switch Lite
I played pokemon then moved on.
It's always strange to me that console Gamers don't understand why backwards compatibility with feature upgrades is important while at the same time talking about PC player so often as if people don't play the same game on PC for decades. When you get new hardware you want the games you own all ready to look and run better PERIOD!
I'm trying to figure out how all of these people with jobs have time to play so many different games within a month. I work between 35 and 40 hours a week and I don't have time to play more than four to five different games within a month.
@Computersayno having the ability to install multiple drives still doesn't make them any cheaper and yes PC owners myself included have been using ssds for a long time now and back when you could only get 100 GB drives without breaking the bank we were moving games back and forth. Unless you wanted to drop $500 on small SSD drives but most of us didn't so we just moved our games.
YEP! So everyone please relax about the ssd drive sizes. PS5 XS/X will all be just fine with your HDD pc players have been moving games back and forth for years because of ssd cost. You can keep like 8 big games on your ssd at a time. I have more than 8 games but I haven't played more that 6 this month.
THIS IS OLD NEWS! We were told games would be smaller by MS months ago! No body listened for some reason.
That's why I don't have a Playstation. I love RPGs but I hate cinematic single player games. HZD is the only Sony game I would like to play. Which is strange because PS2 was an RPG machine.
So this isn't running at 4k 60fps? How? I'm very surprised by that.
Would love Co op Skyrim. ESO should have been a 2 player co op skyrim
Western RPGs playing Wasteland as I type.
I had a switch for a while and gave it to my nephew because I got tired the novelty of it after a while because those aren't really the type of games I like to play. I sold my Xbox One S to pre-order the Xbox series X with the plan I could finish a few rpgs in the month and a half I wait. Xcloud has been getting the job done.
Nintards won't care!
