FFXIII graphics weren't that good anyway. Even back then, it was pretty ordinary.
The Vita itself isn't overpriced. However, the memory cards are seriously overpriced.
All of them, from 4GB to 32GB are seriously overpriced and should be half the price they are now.
A 8GB USB flash drive or SD card is 8.99$, so the fact that they're pricing their 8GB card at 29.99$ is too much.

Piracy is bad, but Crapcom fully deserved what happened here. This kind of hacking need to continue, as those companies like Crapcom just will never stop this unacceptable behavior until they are sent this kind of message.
A console is made specifically to run games and almost nothing else, except the XMB in PS3's case or Dashboard in 360's case.
So let's say a console is meant to just run games, you can do a lot more than a PC if you had the same hardware, because the PC isn't mainly a gaming machine. Not only you have to run the game, but you have to run your OS and another crapload of things behind as well, which greatly reduce the performance.
Most pirates wouldn't buy the games they pirate if they couldn't pirate. Of course, I don't say piracy is bad, but the devs barely lose money, well not the huge amount they say they lose.
However, used games are not only a bigger problem, but the money all goes into gamestop's pockets. It's a worse problem.
How about you release Final Fantasy Versus XIII, then since that would be out of the way, you start working on Kingdom Heart 3, then you can actually release it, which is what people actually want.
I love Kingdom hearts, but those annoying and useless spinoffs are become unnecessary. If you can't tell a decent story without having a million bad spinoffs in between, then don't bother.
Piracy doesn't cost billions in revenue, I bet it barely cost millions. The majority of pirates would never buy the game if they couldn't pirate it. You can't lose money they would never give you in the first place.

It's not likely to be surpassed, it's actually certainly gonna happen. I don't know if the Wii U is more powerful than the ps3 or 360 (some says the thing is still not on par with a PS3), but in the end, that's a little too late.

36.7 millions 360 sold in the US compared to 22 millions PS3. However, most of those 360 are obviously replacements for RRoD, so if you take those out, I think Sony wins, if you think a little portion of those ps3 YLOD and were replaced. A very little portion of them, since the PS3 failure rate is pretty normal, unlike the first 360s.
It's obvious at this point that Microsoft made the 360 RRoD on purpose just to boost their sales. They can't win unless they play dirty...
It doesn't matter if they remain strong against it or not, they're gonna get crushed like little bugs. Torchlight 2 will be completely annihilated by Diablo 3 and there is nothing they can do.

Well yeah, smartphone gaming is horrible, so it's obvious people would go buy their opposition, which is actually good.
No offense, but a comment like that coming from a guy who developped a game that is as horrible as Fez should never even be considered as valid.
The servers goes live at midnight ... pacific time. So if you don't live in that timezone, even if you get it at midnight, you're out of luck for a few hours.
