It is worse. Have you played all the titles? When the added homologation they ruined the game. Ruined what made Forza, Forza.
Yet they have taken a step back with multiplayer features, and stifled creativity and freedom due to homologation rules, which reviewers are not picking up on.
Worst entry in the series for me.

"hardcore gamer" and doesn't mention how homologation has ruined the game, how multiplayer is a baron wasteland with only 5 preset events, time trials and leaderboards per PI class are completely missing. Did this website just do a copy paste?
It has been since Forza 3. Now they change it so 15 quid is down the drain after 25 races. Jokers.
My copy and 3 of my friends are refunded. Not just because of this, but it's a small part.
No mention of the lack of time trial mode, leaderboards per PI class are gone in favour of new vehicle classes, homogolation standards have ruined the games freedom, multiplayer lobbies are now 5 preset events rather than run what you brung
You get less cash rewards this time around, cars are more expensive, and forza hub credits have also gone down.
You can only access certain cars with loot boxes. And it's a lot of cars to be fair. I have refunded my game, I am sure that's a bigger middle finger to the game than not buying a loot box 😆
They have nerfed in game economy for the sake of loot boxes, less credits per race. No sign of actual cash money for these yet though.
Ain't about that really, they have complete nerfed in game economy to suit loot boxes.

I don't see the problem. A lot of games have loot boxes, Forza 7 has crates at all different tiers too.
I have never bought a loot box for any game, on any platform, it just doesn't appeal to me.
If they genuinely work like mobile games then we will have a problem, unable to kill a boss, only way to kill is with random weapon drop in a loot box
Majority of times throughout the year these drop to £150 with Gear shifter. Can't believe how much it is on its own.
