Not sure regarding back lash, but Fallout Shelter is free to play, with random lunchbox/loot box items. That's no different to what we have in SWBF2 is it.
Just find it fascinating that this is the catalyst when it's been in kids and adults faces for several years on more accessible platforms.
Gambling is gambling, barrier to entry isn't the problem here.
2014 and still not out? Why is there hype for this game am I missing something?
Not really when announcement, to game release, is 2/3 years..
What about the umpteen mobile games that are free 2 play, with random loot in them?
Don't understand why this makes a difference now to the gambling commissions.
It's ridiculously easy to unlock stuff in this game. With like 3 kills I can level up a weapon some times it's silly.
Last of Us was overrated. Could see gameplay arcs coming a mile off.
Hmm, wonder what will happen in this open area, with scattered hip height boxes?!... Yes, a gun fight.
Dead Space was incredible! 2nd one was great also. My all time favourite weapon, the nail gun, so satisfying sticking a necromorph to a wall
Just own all the consoles then exclusives aren't an issue. They're cheap enough (minus the switch) that they're isn't an excuse to miss out on great games all round.
And use the Xbox primarily because the controller is superior in every way.
Yeh he has lost the plot over the past few years. Everyone praised him for back tracking the initial reveal, but since then, what has he honestly done.
It was pretty god awful on my Xbox One but still playable.
When I look back on the game in years to come I won't be thinking about the resolution or the framerate, more the gameplay, the story, and Triss...
"hey, this guy has been on a PC before!"
Nobody cares.
Watched the video at 720p on my mobile phone.
Can't tell the difference 😁
Happened to Easy Allies, they mentioned the frame rate issues jarring the experience, and because that meant the game got a 4.5 star out of 5 they got a load of abuse.
Shocking!
Luckily it seems to be one of the few things that haven't increased in price in line with inflation.
What about the option, make better games?
First COD I have bought new since Black Ops 1, and it hasn't changed at all.
Not that that is a bad thing for me personally though. Love the Ww2 aesthetic
Will only benefit the big wigs when things go down the pan. Talented artists will lose their jobs while the man up top keeps his millions.
Great. Now what about the deals for the rest of the world
Completely forgot about The Division.
That, and No Man's Sky will probably be the most disappointing titles of this generation.
Fallout shelter loot boxes aren't cosmetic they change the game. You get rare characters.
I'm not saying it's more relevant at all, or there needs to be a backlash but the fact it's happened now, when mobile gaming has a much larger install base than a £40 console game.
