If SONY will require PS3 owner to pay ... it will still free and not mandatory just to play games.
Now my question to you, what if MS ask you to pay more than $5/month ... let say $7/month. Would you still pay for it or dedicate all your money and resources to PS3 now?
My coworker bought the HDTV + XBOX 360.
I told him why? His response, because it is cheap and cannot afford the PS3 bundle.

Yup a lot of customers got tricked by MS this November. So before buying an electronic appliance, do your homework first regarding the product.

I totally agree that SONY did very well this november. And their selling their SKU system for $300 compared to their competitor who are giving away $100 discounts and 6 bundle games at BEST BUY on thanksgiving day. I would not brag about a 100K lead if i know that MS selling their SKU at the cheapest price.

Sony loses money? Didn't you get notified that Sony already released their PS3 slim this year? tsk tsk tsk. XBOX 360 Elite SKU is using the same materials/components in building their system. They even fix their heat sink to give protection for RROD issue temporarily. How can you make a profit if you just drop the price recently just to compete against the PS3 slim. Okay before any xbox fanboys says that we don't support our PS3 games especially first party games ... that is not true. The reason behind it is:
1. Too many PS3 games to choose from.
2. It is not wise to buy games if you are not going to play it right away. So purchase the game after 2 to 3 months or maybe once it goes on sale, while you focus playing your primary game of your choice.
3. Majority of PS owners are older or maybe married that buying too many games ...

if its another game and it is worth to buy, then yah! but but ... i won't buy it right away. i'll wait for the price to go down like $40, just like i'm doing for Assassins Creed 2.
first buy for all well known AAA franchise games and SONY first party games before any multiplatform games.

First of all, we didn't dissed out Netflix ... we just don't brag it too much as what XBOX 360 owners do because you can watch movie through the internet for FREE. Unless you are a avid movie fan who likes to watch HD movies then Netflix is for you.

Dude that is not being idiotic ... that is REALITY. If you bought an Uncharted 2 and you are a student with no job for example, you won't rush to buy a MW2 unless you have extra money. Ofcourse that person will still buy MW2, but in no way he will rush to purchase or preor...
Ofcourse if you are a XBOX owner, and reside in america ... you will definetly buy MW2. That's the only game that will get you through this holiday unless you are a racing fan and pick up Forza 3. Halo 3 ODST is all hype and not worth $60. I rather have a Fall Out 3 Year Edition.
While PS3 owners are so busy playing KZ2, Infamous, UC2, MW2, Demons Souls, and reserving their money for Final Fantasy XIII (import copy), MAG (on January). So no wonder the ratio is 2 to 1. No supris...
