Games for both PS4 and XBOX1 will be compared again, same thing happened during the PS3 and XBOX360 era. The difference for the PS4 is it is easy to port from PC to the PS4. Your calculation maybe right but here is my opinion about the hardware price.
Remember due to the cell processor, blu-ray, and SONY has their own factories to create the cell chip the price of the PS3 went up. But now those are all standard with no factories to maintain, so no more expensive added cost for the PS4.
So if PS4 and XBOX1 cost to produce $250 for the base price. Here is my predictions for the final price.

Actually a lot of my coworkers and friends that are women that has kids cancelled their xbox live because they knew that they are getting free online gaming for the ps3. These are the same moms that will buy the ps4 in two to three years from now if sony can price their system cheaper than xboxone.
It is good that Sony is working hand in hand with Jed York for the new 49ers stadium. Sony is stepping up to promote their new system.

Shock who? I have some casual gamer friends who are xbox fans and they said that they will hold their decision in buying xboxone due to used games and xbox live fee in case the price raise up. That's what you called reality my friend. They have learned that MS screwed them up the past 3 years, so NO to kinect games. Ofcourse there are still consumers that will continue to buy an xboxone at launch.

Nah! I havent bought any xbox system since when it came and I'm okay with it. The only thing that i want to play from xbox is gears of war, left 4 dead, and maybe japanese rpg. I'm no halo and forza fan. So that 6 games compared to sony exclusive games?
So for microsoft to entice me to buy their system they need to show new ip games. Like 8 new ip games of xboxone that we havent heard. And 5 of that need to be release within the first 6 months ...
Microsoft always promised to deliver on E3, but consumers always get disappointed with weak lineup of games. All they do is invite celebrities in their show, but their conference sucks when it comes to games.
Microsoft E3 were good in 2006 & 2007. After that it is even, or it dependes which game do you prefer. But Sony is kicking Microsoft butt at E3 the last 3 years (started 2010). That's 3 straight years ... dammit! And it will be the 4th year this time around if ...
A lot of MS fanboys are angry because xboxone has DRM, so to encourage themselves they will say that Sony is planning to have DRM too. You guys are the same trolls that keep bashing the PS3 that it will have fees just to pay online. It's 7 years now and no fee was implemented to use PS3 online ... haha ... pathetic.

Why would sony get scared with developers if they can sale more ps4 than xbox1. If you sale more units the advantage is on you, just like the ps1 and ps2. As long as sony dont make the same mistake of pricing it too much, then ps4 will be hard to defeat this next gen of console war.
Always remember when it comes to business, keeping your consumers happy is the one priority, because they will come again and again if your product is good and price right. Leaching your consumers...
Why are you guys so eager to get Grand Turismo 6 in the PS4? I have so many backlog games in my PS3 like 10 games or more. And i haven't purchased a lot of PS3 games this year (only 3 games) because i'm not in a rush and waiting for thanksgiving for the price to drop and buy all of these games. I only prioritize big budget AAA games like Last of Us, GTAV and maybe NBA2K ... all the rest it can wait.
So why any of you get disappointed for not getting this in PS4 immd...
Microsoft is worried, remember during the ps3 launched day when microsoft messed up the ps3 launched by bombarding with advertisement and hired people to ridicule ps3 customers in the line and promote the xbox 360. Same will happen in ps4 once it launch.
I think sony will released 2 sku. One is priced $450 and the other is $550 to $600. I doubt it will be $400 unless they take out the camera in the bundle.
Square-Enix only focus in transferring their games to PSP or making their old games to HD version.
Square-Enix released two or three games for the PS1 and PS2 system every year. Now it's all gone. Atlus is even better than Square-Enix now.
FFVII Remake ... YES it will happened ... but not on PS3 because Square-Enix wants to play safe and don't want to spend to much money creating this remake.
I'm pretty sure it will come out either on PSP or NGP.
And if Square-Enix plans to create this on PS3, we have to wait 4 - 5 more years because they are busy with their other final fantasy game.

I think EDGE Magazine fanboys writer got tired dishing out the PS3 games because whatever they do consumer will still buy a PS3 console as it shows that the PS3 sales took the lead from XBOX360 worldwide.
Or maybe Microsoft stuff funding their articles haha. And now they want to make themselves look good for SONY and get their approval and funding to backup the PS4. Ain't gonna happened EDGE ... people knows that the Playstation is way better.
