The PS Vita may be 250$ as well, but a price drop on the 3DS will happen before the PS Vita is released.
Also, even if the 3DS stayed at 250$, it would still dominate the Vita because lets face it, they both target different audiences.

They're obviously gonna be able to keep up with this current generation, but both Sony and Microsoft will come up with something much more powerful for the enxt generation, making this look like another wii.
I also expect the 3DS to get a boost in sales once Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D comes out in 12 days.
Of course, there is Star Fox 64 3D, Mario Kart 3DS, Super Mario Bros 3D and lots of other coming that will boost its sales as well. A price drop is gonna seal the deal.

300-400 hours is probably for casual gamers. Hardcore gamers are always doing it faster then their estimates, It's a lot of time though. Last game I took this long were Star Ocean the Last Hope and White Knight Chronicles. Getting those platinum trophies took forever.

Lost Odyssey 2 doesn't even exist, it's not even being made at all.
The guy who made final fantasy recently made the Last Story for Wii, doubt he even had time to consider a sequel to Lost Odyssey. With a confirmation to a localization (at least in Europe) of Last Story, you can bet he is still working on it even though it was released.
On a negative side, people are treated like criminals.

All those GTA5 rumors are likely fake. The other rumors you hear for other games are mostly fake as well.

This one might especially be fake since even though Take-Two will be at E3, Rockstar isn't gonna be, so the annoucement of GTA5 has very little chances of happening.

The reason they are releasing FF13-2 so fast after FF13 is because it uses the same engine. Obviously, the ps3 version will be better again.
