Sales wise it will flop, because Microsoft gamers don't buy games. This Games was a huge hit on the ps2 not on Xbox. It's not like it sold 60 or 70 % on Microsoft machine... Like other games that greedy company wants to buy and take from 160 millions gamers
I almost got tears in my eyes. So Microsoft needs this deal because it's gaming division is small. Their numbers are weak. They are in last place, their new consoles are selling badly, they don't have games. Sony and Nintendo are evil, they have big numbers, their consoles are always number one, they got games... You still don't understand that Microsoft won't stop here. This won't be the last publisher that they will buy... Its the only way for Gamepass to be a success and profitable. This isn't competition, its a buy to win.
The strategy of Microsoft is easy to see they lack the capacity to create big blockbusters games that make gamers get GP, so they will buy more publishers. They aren't using the profits of the videogaming division, but from other divisions...
It's easy to see who thinks this deal is good for videogaming. The excuses that some write here.. . Taking games from the biggest market in videogaming to the smallest... Games that were available for all for 20 or 30 years... If this was the way around I can't even imagined the amount of news and opinions destroying Sony.
It would be the same if Sony got square, Capcom, from software, konami, Sega and even so I don't know if it's the same level of this 70 b...

Taking games from others because you can't make them. Trying to force gamers in to buying their products... Microsoft with this kind of money could make hundreds of new triple AAA games or bring back other triple AAA games, instead is tryng to buy its way. Can't beat them buy them.... They should try and by Nintendo and Sony and then gamepass would be profitable. We would be force to get it.
