Why is this news? While this game is incrediible, this compilation of songs is terrible.
I didn't mind getting loot for my other javelins, why was this an issue? The loot however does need to be adjusted, unless you could use a white, green, blue, purple, and orange, to make a yellow, and craft your own legendary item. Incorporate them into gameplay while rewarding the player. Otherwise, make legendaries a guaranteed drop from stronghold bosses on grand master 2 and 3. That is my opinion on this.
This reminds me so much of when Destiny first came out and was a disaster as well
The transition from epic to masterwork javelin is deeply rewarding, there is a huge power gap between the two. Once you get there the game takes on a whole new level of fun. masterwork to legendary is the same way as well.
There should always be an offline element so you can always play a game after you have bought it. You should be able to go in solo and work on your character at any time regardless if the servers are working or not.
This game is way better than Zelda in my opinion. It's an incredibly good game.
This is not 100 percent accurate. Before the update my game used to crash every time the mission end screen came up, but after the update I played for four hours after it was released, with no glitchy gameplay, lag or crashing, it was the most fun I've had with the game, I also got a few legacy pieces and a ton of masterwork items in those four hours after the update, and while I did get a lot of purple and greens, I did get orange and yellow as well.
My logic? Maybe you should look at yours. When you buy a car you go and have a look at it, test drive it, kick the tires, open the hood, and come to a decision if you are going to buy it. Did we all get the chance to do that with Anthem? Yes we did, pre beta, the open beta, videos showcasing the game, online reviews before it released, and every single person that did their due diligence before they bought the game knew what they were getting before they handed out their money. Unfinished games being released is unexcusabale, But everyone is such a critic, can you program? Could you do better? Everyone demands so much, yet nobody can do any better themselves.
Console Bricking doesn't come from a game, it comes from the platforms OEM vis OS updates, Homebrew or modding etc... If even half of the people "claiming" that their console was bricked did the most common sense troubleshooting to their console they'd stop crying "wolf" when something doesn't go their way and stop blaming the last thing they did on their console as the cause. True Story, I am having a lot of fun with Anthem, when it works. The loading, and glitches are annoying, but the game is still very playable.

I'm actually enjoying Anthem as well, even though I find myself yelling at the load times. The good thing is that this is a mmo, so patches and fixes are coming. Eventually it will get cleaned up.

This revieweris playing the pc version, and there are a lot of differences form pc and console version. It seems to me, that in every new release there is someone out there who has to have a hate on for it, no matter how good the game is. hasn't bioware been an open book and shown as much of the game as they could before launch so that consumers knew what they were in for? Now they are surprised and disappointed they got it.
What a great idea to implement bots into the game, especially for noobs, there is nothing worse than getting trounced before you even get started by veteran players. If you have been getting beat over and over it would be a good way to get you back into the game by giving you a few wins. It's absolutely brilliant from a player and as a business model.
Did the same thing not happen with Destiny? When it first came out, it was nothing close to how it was advertised, glitches, server error, getting booted out of the game by "goose" errors. Why didn't Bioware learn from that mistake? It was a road map of what not to do, and they ignored it. What new game is going to come out in the future that doesn't learn from its predecessors? Destiny at least is stable for the moment. Maybe Anthem can slowly recover as well.
