The "Ferrari" seems to be warming up now.
all i know is ever since thanksgiving, alot of my friends have gotten a ps3. i know alot of people that had the 360, sold it or passed it down and got a ps3. Its really not that hard of a decision either, especially if you own a 1080p display and some kicking speakers.
For right now EVERYONE seems to not mind the 400 dollar price. As bluray profits SOAR i expect sony to drop the price to 300.......Totally FVcking taking over this year.

correction:
360 is the longest in the market, providing owners with plenty of software(2 years worth). all around good console which developers should push to do more(if possible).
wii is a novelty. novelties wear off. dont get me wrong, some games are fun on the wii.........but what happens when you wanna play a real game?
Ps3 was s#itted on, by many gamers, news sources, blogs, competitors, even developers. The system which was destined to fail ...

Isnt it funny how all sony home consoles KILL ALL in their 2nd years, following a poor launch year? Where have all the ps3 sux/fails/ is a waste of time analysts/gamers/flamers GONE?

Now that the format war is done, sony seems to be focusing more on games.

with more studios supporting the bluray format, coupled with exclusive game studios and its ip's, ps3 seems to be going hard now.

frankly, this shouldnt be of concern anymore in 2008 and beyond. sony can now finally focus all their attention on gaming now that the format war is practically over.

I know i thought of alll this about 2 months ago when i bought my ps3.
sony bet the whole house on bluray. it could have been a tremendous loss for them.
out of the 2 (console/format), 1 war is won for sony. AGAIN...
now lets hope they focus all their minds in the gaming area and bless ps3 owners the same way they blessed ps1 and ps2 owners
microsoft rushed their console. they should have waited a year and thrown in the internal hddvd player and done some stress testing to isolate the rrod before world wide launch.
if thy had done that, they probably would have won this gen.
now, their image is "unreliable", vista is a waste of time, and hddvd was a disaster.......doesnt look too bright for them.
they should either get out of gaming, or release a new console and start all over. ...
