Yeh,
I did not see any hype. The only thing of note was the people wanting to boycott it.
I am having fun playing the solo campaign on teir 1
I have given HHG crap for his mad predictions in the past. What I will not do is give him sh*t for is scoring a game high. At the end of the day, he obviously enjoyed it. Hey, I enjoyed Haze and Too human, two panned games. The only games I could not stomach playing anymore was AVP, Bayonetta (look at the high scores that got!) and SFIV (again, another acclaimed game). Horses for courses at the end of the day.
I have only completed the first mission on Tier 1 (3rd attempt) so it is not that hard. However, I am having fun, a review aside, that is all that matters to me.
MoH may not be the greatest game this year. But at least it is not QT. I am having more fun with it than I did with singularity. It is serving its purpose, as stop-gap after Reach and Enslaved until Fable III and Black-OP
After playing CoD:WaW on veteran unable to get to the next checkpoint for ours, I will never complain about difficulty again.
There seems to be much better choices out there.

wtf?!
Anyway get one achievement for completing legendary and another if you do it alone.
My next playthrough (After enslaved and MoH) I will try with all skulls on.
That is the only way to do that part sanely. When you go through the force field walk alone the walkway before you fall all the way down, then run to your far left. You will see the locked doorway and a bloock. IF the elite s come for you (if you are equipped), n00b-combo them
I only had to kill one of the hunters at the bottom. I then trick one into going down the stairs.
I played it on heroic first (to get the 1st weekly challenge quickly), then went through it again on legendary. It was not that much harder. I never completed a halo game on legendary before until just a a few week before Reach came out. I replayed ODST and H3 on legendary as prep, and realized I should have played on that difficult in the first place.
darkequitus: xbl/psn
Both.
Enslaved today, MoH next week. Then Castlevania, Fable III and Bond before black ops arrives.
POS confirmed
Why? It has shown how bad the first lot of U3 games were on the PS3 until now, where there is hardly any difference. It used to be a case of, if it in US3 multi plat, the PS3 owners would get the short end. At least that is normally not the case anymore by comparison.
The y need the money after AVP and Alpha Protocol and the other bombs
MDK was a TPS in 1997. I am sure there were ones before that.
It looks like you have. play in third person=TPS,
edit:
shooter in the loosest sense. Just like Mirrors edge being a FPS yet you only use as gun marginally. Or Port still being called a FPS. It is just a name to reference the perspective rather than a black and white style of play term
Worst demo ever. I played less than 5mins on PS3 then deleted it. Downloaded it again on my 360 to just give it one more chance. It was deleted after 3 minute. This is an embarrassment to gaming. This is how a 'dev' (I use the term very loosely) throws money away. A game made in a 24hr competition is mile better than this.
Bungie has set rules that determine how they wish the game to be played. It may not hurt anyone but that is not a point. The ranks are meant to show effort not exploit. It is against the rules to hack or glitch a game (both Bungie and live). And it is simple as that. Even using grunpocolypse (legit) is of diminishing returns.
As most of that list applies to every franchise,. don't buy anything
1. all bit franchises are hyped.
2. As with the film titanic, but it was not simply about the ship, it was the journey. As with every WW2 movie ever made.
3. Because the story is serious.
4. Bungie, IW or tryarch cannot control fanboys.
5. Like every franchise. There is a reason for health packs. You are not masterchief and you don't have the same armor.
I brought my UK 60Gb PS3 to the US when I moved over. I could use Netflix with the disk, not with the download.
