War at war follows every CoD game formula before it to the letter. Play one guy, go through infinite spawn checkpoint. Play another guy, go back to the first guy.
Reach may not have the story but it has the A.I (if you wish) the open space battles (in the arena style set pieces)that none other other game has. I want to be able to outwit my a.i. opponent not simply run to
SO what has?
CoD, KZ2 (apart from graphics). Name me a FPS that ha brought something really different (HL2/physic and portal excluded)and (whatever that is)tell me what is ahead of the curve.
ALL the franchisees on consoles have merely made better what was done before
Halo, LBP, Resistance, Metal gear, every sports game; the list goes on
Agreed, When a FPS tries to be different like KZ2, people will hammer it. So now he devs have to back-peddle. People scream for innovation and change. But you change one thing on their favorite game and the will come down on you. Look at all the crap Bungie got with the Reach beta.
Granted, when I played KZ2 for the first time, I go my ass handed to me until I adapted to the control.
Not being Master chief in ODST, I was getting massacred on legendary.
Apart from Half-life 2 and Bioshock, where are the story for the other games. CoD are all over the place for example, plus a super short campaign to boot.
Since HL2, the real innovative FPS was Portal. Everything else including Halo was more of the same. Until MW2, the CoD campaign design were archaic. No real A.i just infinate spawning enemies that could hit a pea with a grenade at 500 paces.
I will give KZ2 and Halo 3/OSDT/Reach (minus the driving although I think ...
I think the ability to patch like the other main consoles is in order. You simply cannot rely on beta testers fin every problem. Here is a good example.
Because, Kocktick is a d#ck. He have proven it time and time again by himself. Whether Schafer has made a good game or not does not change that

Now that is is multi-plat, there will be twice as many discs on the trash heap.
The demo was so bad, could not bring myself to finish it.
I am sure there will be some quick and dirty up-rezed Wii games. However, every platform has their share of s**t. As far as I can see, there are enough good stuff coming out to leave the shoveware on the shelf
I will buy it when sorcery is out(if the it turns out as good as I hope it will)
This game looked terrible (from the demo) Poor animation, a.i, explosions, textures. Loose as you like controls. I could not bring myself to finish the demo, as I new I was already wasting my time (could be play the reals gears or UC2.
I can't believe Tecmo Koei did not kill this off. I guess they are desperate for a hit. Their not getting one with this.
LOl.
2M + people a day on reach. Just go to the Bungie website. Your comment is ill-informed.

Since when did MS buy Yahoo. Yahoo uses MS search tech in a 10 year deal, since when is that owning. IN that case, every site that uses Google is own by them.
Anyway,I will buy Move when Sorcery comes out.
The lights are the same, they pulse. On the first picture it is more glowy on the 360 and on the second on the PS3. The lights were just caught at different stages of their pulse cycle. After playing both, there is no difference.
Are you smoking crack! PS3 firmware problems are hardly widespread. But to day this is the first legitimate problem is downright untrue. Sony has even acknowledges some people having issues in the pass, I being one of them - though that was two years ago.
And before you say it, I am not a fake fanboy tard. darkequitus, darkequits_usa, darkequitus_jap

@shysun,
If it take 2 clips to bring an NPC down on normal, then you are doing something wrong
Driving yes. I think that is part of the Halo make up and it would be strange if the changed it now.
As for combat, they are only really there to distract the enemy so you can flank. They do not shield out etc. As other Noble Team members are indestructible for the most part, it has to be done so that they don't finish the game for you.
No space combat DLC would be a wasted opportunity
This is why I am sticking to firefight.
