Silent hill should have been a lot higher up, its got less "BOO" style scares, but the overall game just feels so dam scary! when you hear the static, and think, sh!t!! Also, my heart drops whenever it went dark.
on the fence... ive seen gameplay vids, and it does look very good, but im trying to save up munny... i mean i gotta get god of war3, uncharted 2, infamous and tekken6... I already bought KZ2, but i sorta want a co-op game too.

and remember the PSP, the reason most people tried(and succeded) hacking it was to give it cool new features, Ebook readers, emulators and stuff.
The PS3 allows you to install linux, so it allows you to do lots of stuff (not everything due to the RSX being locked) but still, its one less reason to bother hacking.

Could sony/MS implement a feature that if the flash or firmware or whatever is getting edited by a third party, that that console just locks up, or kills itself (RODD/YLOD)?
Actually youre wrong, Linux is open source, so yeah you cant really "Hack" it.
Also you can install linux on the PS3, its not its actual OS, its just an optional OS you can install. The PS3 has thoes stages things, I read bout them, heavy stuff. Sony have learned from the whole PSP situation.
Also, if/when it does get hacked, sony could pad up their games with unnecessary data(first/second party ones atleast) so it would boost up the game sizes (arent 100...

good think NZ is the first country in the world to wake up :) i got mine 7 hours ago, after school. awesome game, Online rocks!!! really hard to aim, due to the lack of aim assist. but im getting used to it.

Just switch it onto scheme D(the twin stick one) its good. the only thing is you cant move while aiming/shooting. Also the knife button takes a while to get used to.
yeah, D is good. Stafe/move with the L stick, rotate/aim up/down with R stick,
Aim with L1, shoot with R1,
L1 + X to reload.
ready knife with l2. its plays like an FPS/TPS hybrid.

crysis does look increadibly good. but im fine with killzone at the moment, my PC sucks a$$... really old, pentium 4 with 256 memory. XD
and im too lazy to upgrade atm, i dont use it much, hell i use my PS3 browser more often than my PC one... its sad.
