No way- UMD is MUCH easier to pirate.
if you have the right program on ur PSP, then just plug it to a Pc and the UMD will appear as a drive.
Just copy to PC and upload.
with DD, theres some drm- you can crack it- but its definetly harder than UMD.

I dout E3, as theres still some big name PSP games comming out, Announcing a PSP would kill any attention Peace walker, MH freedom 3, KH:BBS, FFagitoXIII and gow would get.
I suspect either the europe confrence (cant remember name, the one where they announced PS3 slim) or next years E3.
I do expect a 4000 at E3 though.

It would be stupid of sony to show off games like MGS: peace walker, GOW, Kingdom hearts, FF agito, monster hunter portable 3.... then reveal the PSP2. Odd placement. I love my PSPgo, People who say its outdated are delusional. the only thing thats outdated is the UMD drive, games restricted to a 1.8gb limit.

Its more than likely that the north carolina studio's project will be multiplatform. Insomniac is probably the last major 3rd party studio that hasn't gone multiplatform.
I Liked R2, I thought it was good, until I played Resistance Retribution (PSP). and I realised how it actually felt like a proper sequel to R:FOM. Narrator, Weapon wheel, more "grey".
I hope R3 is more like it.

But no... you had to spoil it for everyone. I might have wanted to play It one day (or mabye it would have gotten ported to Ps3) but now I probably wont enjoy as much.
I tried it the other day, its pretty cool. I was reading their messenger conversations, the quests and stuff make it feel sorta like an MMO. I cant finish any of the other missions, brain cannot compute!

I heard it lacks a GBA slot, would piss off people who want to collect lots of pokemon. considering you need to connect to GBA games to get a lot of em.
It seems like the PSP upgrades, no real need to upgrade, just a bonus for people who want a new one, Im fine with my PSP 1000 at the moment, but i might decide to get the 4000 or 5000...

UMD needs to die, Physical media has no place in a handheld, it sorta defeats the purpose.
I used to carry around my UMD case, that could carry 5 umds. Now I have 20+ games on my PSP at all times.
