Halo is the main exclusive system seller for Xbox 360. Forza & Gears not so much, but due to strong reception and popularity of previous games, I expect Forza 4 & Gears of War 3 to be system sellers for the Xbox 360. The article says GT5 will sell past the 10m mark. I am highly skeptical of that. It has sold roughly 6.5m as of now and doesn't have enough momentum to sell another 3.5 in my honest and logical opinion.

It is definitely a big possibility since HD DVD is out dated and Blu-ray is Sony's property. But it will be way ahead of its time. Nintendo should probably wait till the 9th console cycle ;)

NGP needs system sellers if it wants to come even close to Nintendo's system. 3DS will already have sold 15-16m by FY2012, and that's a HUGE head start. Plus it will have titles like

Yup, Sony is not in a position to invest so much in developing their next console due to many reasons such as their losses on the PS3 hardware, PSN hack and a big decrease in market cap over the years.
I wouldn't expect their next console to be the PS3 of this gen (ie. most powerful), but I expect it to be like what the PS2 was in the 6th gen, and that's a good thing. Though I fully expect either Nintendo or Microsoft to win the next console war.

How ignorant of the author to group the two Mario Galaxy games into one. It's just like saying Uncharted 2 = Uncharted: Drakes Fortune or Mass Effect = Mass Effect 2.
Super Mario Galaxy 2 is leaps and bounds better than it's predecessor, and easily the best game of this generation.

Perfect game is perfect!
The Wii Mote is the perfect controller for this game. Picking up starbits, using launch stars, P2 co-op, shooting starbits etc are all things that can't be done with a normal controller and worked perfectly for Super Mario Galaxy 2. I wouldn't go back to the classic controller.
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D ............... Best game ever created. Surely, the best game of this little month, lol ;)

The dude who wrote the article only mentioned Mario's first galaxy adventure. Super Mario Galaxy 2 is way better than the original and easily the best game of this generation, even above Mass Effect 2. He also forgot to mention Metal Gear Solid 4, The Legend of Zelda: TP, Red Dead Redemption, GTA IV & Uncharted 2 all of which deserve a spot on this list.

It will have trouble even reaching 7million by the rate its going at now. A price drop may help, but 7.5 or 8 MAX. GT4 Prologue did less than 5m. That's nothing compared to what the series sold on PS2!! It's still a system seller, but not what it was on PS2.
