Mostly, I prefer the standard controller, but motion games are certainly very refreshing once in a while, especially when I'm drunk :P

Obviously I disagree. If you say "Most gamers are fine with using a traditional controller" ya I agree, so am I, but then the industry would be boring and dull if every console had the same ****ing input. I personally like the idea of the new Wii U pad, and think it might trump the classic controller in many ways while helping to ease the gaming experience (HUD in your palm ftw!).

Besides Nintendo couldn't go with a high powered console like the PS3 simply because it didn't have that many resources or money to waste during the abysmal GCN days. They had to make profit.
