If those benchmarks are true than I'm surprised that such a "low end" card can pull of these results. But why didn't they compare it to the 750(Ti) instead of the 1 generation older 650?
Probably the improvement you get when turning of physx? I don't know as I'm using an AMD card, so no way for me to try it.
Yeah I hate them too. Let's hope we can alter some ini files to reduce pop ups in the distance. If not, well as you said, it's still going to be an epic game, and few popups won't break it
Are you serious Fries? The only thing I agree are the driver updates. But as long as everything runs fine I don't need any (the only exception being Project Cars at launch)
I pretty much agree with you. I liked Hitman absolution and Deus Ex but somehow I'm not feeling it yet for the sequels, don't know why. On the other hand I'm really looking forward to MGS and Fallout. Just need to finish the Witcher 3 before the 1. september
I played Dark Souls 2 with a sorcerer build and I'm not going to make that mistake again. It made the game at some points too easy as you could kill enemies from a save distance, and it was a little bit repetitive as you pretty much could only use one weapon (for me it was the fire sword) if you only invested in your sorcerer skills (which made sense ...). So this time I'm definitely choosing something else. Still I'm very hyped for this game!
Actually you can go way higher. I've played GZ with my 290 (non X) at 1440p @ 60 frames, so a 980ti can easily run that game at 4k. I guess you don't have such display, so use downsamplig to make the image look even better. But no matter which hardware/console you use, the game will still be a masterpiece!
Actually if you're going to Germany I think you can wait. We have pretty good deals most of the time for the Xbox One (around 300€ instead of 400€). The only thing that kinda breaks the deal is the exchange rate from dollar to euro (assuming you're from the United States). If not, you'll definitively find a good deal.

The major patch is still coming (at least that's what I understood), but this one fixes quite a few problems too
They already said the game will launch at the end of this year, and if it's successful it will get ported to the consoles. I haven't had this much fun in a racing game for a long time, so I really hope it sells well and Codemasters can launch it across all platforms
What do you expect. Running a game on 4x (!) higher resolution than a Ps4 at the same (or nearly the same) price (yeah I know that 5K is even more)? Of course it's not going to happen. But I don't get why people bring up the price every damn time. Choose the rig you can afford, and if your making some money it shouldn't even be a problem to pay 1500$ every ~ 6 years for a high end system. Sure the games are cheaper and you could bring up other benefits but for me the experience sh...
Actually they said they'll remove it at some point when they first released it (people assumed it would be a way shorter time). So it doesn't necessary have to do anything with current events, but it could of course
Actually I'm thinking of buying a PS4 just because of this game. Finished Dark Souls 2 few days ago (on PC), truly enjoyed it, and that one is even considered to be the worse part of the series. Really love the art style of Bloodborne and it seems it will follow the roots of Daemon Souls / Dark Souls. I just have too many games in my back catalog (damn you Steam!), don't know if it would be smart to add all the Ps4 games to it ... :(

Yeah as I remember they were a really small team for an AAA production, so it took them way longer then expected (and I guess it was one of the reasons they scaled back from open world to linear).
Not trying to start some stupid "exclusive war" but I genuinely want to know: are there any plans for a PC port? I just got Alan Wake and really enjoy their work, so QB got me interested

And yes I agree traumadisaster, I'll def. buy one, but I don't think it's going to be accepted on the mass market. It just looks too "nerdy" for the average guy, and might probably be too expensive as well.
