I won't get into the discussion which console has better spec, and I won't argue if the CELL is powerful enough to replace the RSX, but (@3.7) seriously, all people complained how expensive the Ps3 was at launch, what do you think the price would have been if they would have put 2 CELLs into it? Yeah let's launch it at like 1000€, I bet people would have bought it (sarc).

120gb Slim Ps3 - still working
Still kindy funning how a few days can "destroy" so many systems, and I don't mean only Ps3s. Remember what happend just before 2000? The hole panic and the final solution which was thought out for only 10 years? Just a few months ago all the cash machines in Germany went crazy because of the date.
I don't know why because I'm missing the tech know-how, but I think it's amusing to see a calender breaking so much ingenious software

I'm not sure too but once I brought my 360 to a friend and we played several games on his HDTV (120hz). Compared to my HDTV it looked so much more smoothly (and I can easily see the difference between 30 and 60 fps). So I guessed it's because of the 120hz (the TV program does looks better/more smooth too).
Too bad, I get the same error. At least I got flower for 2.99 (very nice deal in my opinion)
I have to agree that I'm impressed with the graphics (and I'm a ps3 & 360 owner, who has played Uncharted 2/Killzone 2 etc). Also I love the art design (way more appealing than Halo 3) and that the game looks extremely fluid. Does anyone know what the fps count is?

A new Xbox before Natal was released? No I don't think so. Especially as long as the current one sells enough, I don't see a reason for them to release a new one
Well the developers did make a comment about the protection of the first game, and how they were glad it took the pirates that "long" to crack it, as the first days are the most important for sales. So I guess the protection payed of for them.
But I agree that the legit customers are the ones who get fu'ked by such a protection

Sega pushed it back because of competition. That's why it was released first in Japan although it had a simultaneous release
Why the devs support the console? Probably because the games sell like crazy. Sure there are a lot cracked consoles (5-10%) but the rest will buy the game if they like it, so why not support the platform. Remember the Ps2? Exactly the same case (beside that there were even more consoles)
Actually I think Sony should do it the same way MS did it. I'm using my Ps3 very often since the Slim launch, but I still can't get used to it. They should make it way more User friendly. Everything should be put into like 4 or 5 categories and when you click on one of them you get the other options. Otherwise it all looks overloaded (just my opinion).
But hey I play the console not the XMB so it's not too important for me
