Dude I own both systems and saying Microsoft has the best exclusives this gen is fanboy delusion. I mean it's not like facts show that Sony has released more exclusives with a higher overall metacritic average than Microsoft while sellling more of those games but that's a given because of install base size. I loved ori,mcc and sunset overdrive and liked quantum, gears 4 and halo 5 but that's pretty much the extent of it.

GameStop is one of if not the biggest game store in the us that makes crazy money and has a huge customer base so I don't know where you get their customer base in shrinking.
