Actually the law doesn't define it as theft.As long as its no longer produced for any platform.Its also completely legal to run a game on a emulator if you own it.
If the game is no longer produced for any platform then the law is its okay.
replacing the Eboot will not always work though.The next firmware update that frees up some memory for developers will be a issue for hackers.

co-op does not mean multiplayer though,RE5 single player is truthfully co-op.Anything that has two or more characters that work together could be considered co-op.
technically move was being developed for PS2 over 10 years ago.So any first party would of had knowledge of the Move in the last few years.
