Its not the same they dont code near as deeply for pc as they do for console.Even Directx 12 is no where near the level console are normally programmed at.I really dont think going into detail is needed here just trust me.

From what I have read the One does not emulate the 360.Which is why they needed dev permission to do it they had to change a few things in the code to make it run.In truth something like this should also be possible for ps3 games on ps4.
At this point im just waiting to see if they mess it up beyond repair. Im hoping they dont so that at least it can be modded to be what I and many of the fans have been asking for.Our maybe they will add an original mode themselves I dont want an action game there are plenty of those out there not so many turn based rpg's though.
Kind of glad Kojima didn't bring him back it was killing Hayter to get the voice he used.Was smoking tons of cigs a day to get his voice like that(he said this himself).If you got to kill yourself for a voice you probably shouldn't be doing it.An as an employer I wouldn't hire a guy thats killing himself for a voice legal issue would come up at some point.
@Death it actually makes perfect sense for Sony to drop the Evo name Driveclub damaged the name (both sony and Evo's fault really) So giving up the name would be a much better move then losing the devs.

Because the whole VR world is seen through the two lenses have you seen them its not just a screen in front of your eyes.So it your looking though your glasses into the lenses for the whole field of view.

Actually I get motion sickness from cars all the time but in the back seat on an empty stomach is when its the worse.Not sure why the empty stomach effects it though the back seat tends to wobble more then the front so that makes it worse.
Also I have never got motion sickness from a game, plane, helicopter...
LBP did this so you could play with them online.Without it you would of had missing content and it wouldn't have worked.
this is so many hours late but we have been using cloud compute for years its not something new.Every MMO out there uses cloud compute.EVERY MMO so wait that means Sony is using cloud compute more then MS o my.
@Aenea I dont think you can really say the one's cpu is faster then the ps3's it certainly doesn't have access to ram near the speed of the xdr to work with either.
@OpenGL thanks for posting that as I was certain there was no way in hell the one was emulating the 360's cpu.
Pretty much all I wanted was updated graphics.Maybe some new weapons and monsters but I wanted the core game (the story, battle and materia system) to remain the same.

You would need a extremely beefy pc to get the draw distance required to see from a distance where each block takes up only one pixel on your screen.Thats not even taking into account the other things that would be loaded at the same time like mobs,redstone machines.
You mean flying are designing/maintenance because I could see it used for both.As for flying it could live stream all data right there where you wouldn't even need to move your head to look at your instruments(would still need the real instruments there though new tech cant be trusted).For maintenance cameras scan the craft and could highlight any areas that seem to need attention.
Okay I haven't said anything about this rumor but what the hell everyone else has said there peace about it why not me.If it was its own platform and had games made to push the system then I wouldn't see a problem with it but if all it does is run ps4 games slightly better then it needs to come out with a price to match the fact that it will never be pushed like a proper console.It basically needs to come out as a simple ps4 slim model that just happens to run the games better.
