I'm sorry no. They don't develop for lowest denominator. They develop for the easier one in this case the ps4 which is slightly more powerful and then bring it down to the Xbox.

The PlayStation if it was as powerful as you say then would not need a cap at 30 fps. They could unlock it and have it go up no? That's what I thought.
The ps4 has slightly better shadows and textures. but it's so slight you don't lose anything playing the Xbox version. Different jacket is bizarre tho.

Bungie has only ever made halo. Halo became great only because ms insisted on continuing the franchise.
Destiny was a huge disappointment to gamers and the only reason it has been succesfful is because it carried halo gameplay which obviously PlayStation and Xbox gamers have been hooked on.
Destiny should die and bungie should try a different genre. Why'd they stop making halos and separate for ms if all they were gonna do is halo like game all over again...

Why don't you go back and watch a couple of conferences from the launch of the ps4 till now. You might be surprised the difference in indie attention between PlayStation and Xbox.
Yes Indies are awesome. But PlayStation has had them swarm it's conferences driving me and I'm sure others to frustration and boredom and then eventually to be deserving of the title indiestation...

The real difference as always is fps and resolution for pc gaming.

Ummm 2k? No need to go that far. Simply 60fps 1080 or the next tier at greater then 30 is easy.
It's also easy to leave the ps4 at its level and then just bring it down for the Xbox.
